"A Gift Bag"

Good Morning Blog Friends, well here we are once again at the start of a new week.  Wonder what this one will bring??
Thank you for calling by and leaving your messages to let me know you were here.  I love to read them all.

I made this Gift Bag to pop a bottle Hand Cream in for a friend.  I actually thought I might hold one of these Hand Washes but they have the nozzle that makes them just a bit too big for this.  That was a bit of a "Bummer" as I have orders for a few of these Hand Washes Gift boxed.   I thought this was a  nicer option, never mind making and decorating boxes will keep me busy.

This project looks far more complicated than it is.  The worst bit for me was figuring out how to use my Classic Circle Die to only cut half circles for the handles.........................!!!! easy once the "Penny Dropped"...........talk about slow!!!!

The whole bag was made from 2 pieces of 12 x 12  card stock.   Oh! sorry and a couple of bits from the Bit Box for leaves.
Ribbon from my Ribbon Box

All Dies Used were Spellbinder
Grand Labels One for the base
Classic Circles to cut the hole for handle
Blossom Five for the Roses
Foliage Die for Leaves

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling in each day I really do appreciate it

Patricia

  1. Hi Patricia, took me a minute ti figure out how this worked but then the penny dropped. Age thing,,, this is absolutely gorgeous, must be a box/bag theme today Christine has posted a lovely gift box. The decoration is lovely, I like the way you have used the same paper to make the flowers make the whole bag tone in. Lovely.

  2. Looks stunning Patricia. Beautiful design and papers. The flowers are so gorgeous. I'm afraid I can't figure out how you did the half circles unless you only put it through the machine half way but then I don't think you would get them both so equal! x

  6. Morning Patricia, Gorgeous gift bag, beautifully made and beautifully decorated.
It must be an 'age thing' with me too, but the 'penny hasn't dropped' with me yet, please, for the 'slower' ones of us, could you do a tutorial or step-by-step of how you did the half circles within the grand labels ?
I love the paper you used and the flowers, once again, are 'to die for', absolutely gorgeous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
