"A Twinchie"

Good Morning Blog friends, thank you for popping in today.  I have something a little different, I was looking in on Jenny L`s Blog (Cardsarus) and saw she had done of couple of these tiny cards.  It is amazing what you can learn by Blog Hopping.  I clicked onto the "Twinchie" Blog and had a look there as well.  I decided I had to have a go, here it the one I made.

I made a very miniature of the Heart Pendants that Hazel and I make to raise funds.  I decorated that with tiny buttons I had in my Button Box.  Used a bit of the border I had punched for yesterday`s card.   Tied a double bow with very fine silk ribbon, I think it was from a Flowersoft Kit I bought years ago, I also added a few pearls.
Well what do you think???  They are really cute and actually fun to make.  Might have another go, it is a great way to use up all those tiny scraps.  The only question I ask is.......... what the heck do you do with them????

I have entered this in the http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/

That`s it for today
Thank you for taking the time to call by, I really appreciate your visit, I always love to see you.

  3. Hi Patricia,
and good morning. Well what can I say what a fabulous twinchie, so much lovely detail on such a small card. I too was wondering what to do with them. Maybe use it on a slightly larger card perhaps.
It's very wet here been ironing since 4.30pm. I have to get up really early to iron as the only place I can iron is by hubbies desk. So I have to do it while he is asleep. lol.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  9. Morning Patricia, Gorgeous twinchie, I love it, the button embellishment is gorgeous, I love your compilation, which must be really hard when you are only dealing with a 2" square card, everything needs to be in miniature, but you have a 'miniature work of art' here.
I had to chuckle when I read 'What the heck do you do with them' ha ha, I think Jenny's idea of using them as a topper for a much larger card is a great idea.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  10. Really lovely Patricia. Quite an achievement to get so much on so little space and it doesn't look crowded. I suppose you could use them as a gift card.

    1. Me again - I was just reading Jenny's comment about what to do with Twinchies. What I have done with the first ones I made is just that - I used 5x5 or 6x6 card blanks and then put them on either a diecut or a toning piece of card. I added some flowers on two that were 'flowerless', but the others look quite nice without anything else. I will use these for either quick cards for notes or general cards going with a small gift.

      Hugs again Sue Pxxx
