"Spellbinder Rose Creation Die"

Hello again Blog friends, I say this almost every day but I really do enjoy you calling by and leaving such wonderful comments on my work.   It makes all the more fun to actually create.
Have not had a lot of time to play with the things I got at SECC in Glasgow on Saturday.  I did get a couple of hours to myself last night, I needed to make a Ruby wedding card........did that.  Once I had finished I just had to have a go at making roses with my Rose Creation Die.  The roses are really not that much different from the ones I make with Blossom Five Die. Never mind you live and learn, the Dies looked so different in the packet but there you go.

I decided to make a Tag Card  which could be used as a card or on a Gift.  However I think the Gift Box or Bag would need to be rather big to accommodate the Tag.

Tag Approx 4 x 6 Centura Pearl
Pink Card
White card cut using Spellbinders Fancy Lattice Die.
I had to extend the die to get the length I needed
Roses cut using the Rose Creation Die
I lightly distressed the edges with Victorian Velvet Ink
Leaves are also in the same packet of Dies
The feathery leaf bottom right  is from another set
Pin I made up with some odd beads
Sentiment Tag I found while rummaging
American Seam Binding Bow

That`s it for today
Thank you for popping in I really do appreciate it

Patricia

  3. Morning Patricia, glad you have been able to use some of your goodies from Saturday. As you say the flowers are very similar to your usual wonderful creations, I just love the way you curl the petals and ink the edges. This is a gorgeous tag card and anyone would love to receive it.

  5. Hi Queen of the roses, oops Patricia,
Well what a superb tag card. Those roses are so spectacular and the whole card is soooooooo beautiful. I'm so glad you mentioned that this die is similar to the blossoms five that stops me from buying it, as it was high on my list for purchasing. Oh nearly forgot your pin is very lovely.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  11. Great job on those flowers Patricia and super tag. Have you visited the Spellbinders website/YouTube to get more inspiration about how to use the Rose Creations dies? I got loads of different flower design ideas and it has become one of my essential die sets. Hugs, Buttons x

  12. Beautiful tag card Patricia. Love the idea of making it into a card. The flowers are lovely but if they are nearly the same as the ones you have then why not put them on ebay - then you can buy more dies without feeling guilty!

  14. This is beautiful Patricia and thank you for the mention of the rose dies - it's so easy to buy them thinking they are totally different. I'll keep that in my head when I'm choosing flowery dies in the future. :)

  15. Hi Patricia, An absolutely gorgeous tag, I love the roses, they are stupendous, I love the lattice die too, and the stick pin is absolutely fantastic, loving the pastel colours you have used also. Truly beautiful.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
PS I've been to Liverpool this morning, back to work, where a colleague who had a baby 6 months ago was coming into the office to show off her baby, so I really wanted to go. It was just as if I had never retired a year last June, it was absolutely lovely to see everyone, I really enjoyed myself, but the best part was that I didn't have to do any work, that can't be bad eh ha ha !!!!
