"With Love"

Hello Blog friends, thank you for calling by, I really love to have you visit.  If you do stop for a while please leave a comment so that I know you called by.
A very plain and simple card for today, I have had loads to catch up both in the house and other Crafty Projects.  Hazel and I have another Craft Fair this Sunday, it is for the Maggies Centre in Dundee.  This facility does so much for people with Cancer, their family and friends.   Although I had fund raised for this a few years ago with a group of friends I never thought for one moment  that I would actually be in that unit supporting my sister.  As soon as you walk through the door you are  greeted by someone with a happy smile.  You are made so welcome, get involved with chat and cups of tea and coffee that you forget you are with people who are going through the riggers of all kinds of Cancer.
I will show tomorrow what I have been making for Sunday.  We have plenty stock of our Pendants, well I hope we have anyway.  Hazel and I have both been busy with them.  I do not sell cards, everyone and there Aunty has tables with cards at Craft Fairs.  I do far better with my Special Order one of cards.

Today`s card is Plain and Simple I have entered it into the In The Pink Challenge http://inthepinkchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Base Card White Centura Pearl approx  5 x 7
Pink Card stock pierced round the edge
Pink card stock that I very slightly distressed round the edge
Pink Co-Ordinations embossed with Spellbinder Paisly M-Bossiblity Folder, sanded back
Some lace across the front with a Five Loop Bow
A Fish Tail tag I cut and a stamped greeting
A tiny gem at the point.  The Bling on the bow is an adapted hair clip.

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for looking in I really do appreciate it

  1. Hi Patricia, what no roses, they have become your "trademark". This card does not need them, so simple and elegant. Good luck for your Craft Fair hope you do well. Your tutorial on making roses was great.

  2. Good Morning Patricia, yes I agree with Wilma, your card is so elegant, it's just lovely. I like the lace bow, never think of using lace. I am delighted to have Hazel follow my blog, please say hello to her and i tried to leave her a message by cliking on her name but it didn't work.

The Choral Society raised money last Christmas for Maggie's here in INverness. Each year the society chooses a charity to support at our Carolthon where we sing all day in the large shopping centre in small groups then the whole chior comes together over lunch time and we sing our special christmas music plus bits from the Messiah. It's great although my voice at the end has gone, but we raise a good few £1000s. This year it's for Guide Dogs. so if you are anyhere near Inversneky 0n 8th Dec drop by and see us, have a good day, kate x

  4. Good Morning Patricia,
Stunning, at first I thought you had embossed on vellum, it looks so fragile, like real lace, love the whole card, very pretty.
    Have a great day today.

  18. Hi Patricia, this is beautiful, I love the embossing especially. Good luck with your craft fair this weekend. I have only done one or two a year lately, for a Hospice, and thankfully the organiser limits the number of sellers per craft to two. I did well the other week, but I do tend to concentrate on commissions too, hugs Carole Z X
