 SOME CRAFTY HEARTS

Good Morning quite a nice day here at the moment, I do hope it continues.
Our two Grandson Thomas 7 and Roberts 5 coming later for a Sleep Over.
Have to get the "Supplies" in plenty of Milk (really need a cow in the back garden when they come) and also plenty food, man!! can those boys eat.
Great fun having them, but boy do they keep you busy.
Here are few "Heart" shaped pendants that I wear, you see them better not all packaged up.
The Gold & Green one I made on Thursday,I bought a little Cardigan and had nothing to go with it. I got out the box of Bead & Wire bits and Bingo................sorted.
Bye for now

Friday 8th June 2012

Hi there folks,

Not too nice here today, rather grey and windy however the rain is staying off so far.

Well it looks like I am managing to get words and pictures onto my "Blog" amazing what pressing buttons can do.  I still am really not sure which buttons to press or in what order but Hey! Ho! we seem to be getting there.

Apart from my Card Making I love to try other crafts, I have been playing with "Wire and Beads" these past few weeks, her are some of my creations.

They are all boxed, bagged and ready to sell.  I actually sold 3 yesterday, I am so pleased, the money raised will help pay for the box of beads that arrived in the post at lunch time.
I mentioned my sister had a Hysterectomy, she is also going through a course of Chemo as well.
20% of every "Wire and Bead" piece I sell is going to the "Comfort Fund" of the Cancer Unit that Hazel is attending.  It will let them buy things that they want and use for the patients while they are in the unit having their Chemo.

I am off to sort through this box of goodies and have a think about what I will be making.

Bye for now,

Patricia

Thursday 7th June 2012

Good Morning, up before the birds this morning, could not sleep, "Blogging" whirring round in mind all the time.
Rather miserable here this morning but hey! ho! what can we do about it??

I had a request for a "Very Special" card from my Sister/Best Friend, Hazel.
Hazel had a Hysterectomy 6 weeks ago, her wound did not heal as well as it should have.  She goes to the Nurses in the Treatment Room of her Doctors every other day to have it dressed, this card is for them, they have been very good to her.

Here is the card, approx 6"X8" Backing paper from a My Craft Studio CD I  love this paper, a doily cut from a Marianne Die, edges distressed with Fired Brick Ink, printed the sentiment, the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, a few die cut leaves, a wee Butterfly I got in a bundle at the Hobbycraft Show in Glasgow back in March and a bow of Vintage Ribbon.  I made a box and the card is snuggled in nice pink tissue paper, I think it looks good I hope you do too.
Bye for now

 Wednesday 6th June

Right!!! had lunch and I am determined I am going to master this "Blogging"

An experiment using my sewing machine to decorate the border round this card, worked fine might just do this again sometime.
I used a Marianne Designables embossing folder on the white card, Spellbinders Little Bitty Flower Dies for the flowers, Crealies Die for the leaves, Pink Petticoat downloaded sentiment.

This is not the card I had in my mind to put on I might just manage to get that on tomorrow.

Bye for now,

Patricia
