Thank you so much for your visit I really do appreciate each and every one of you popping in to see me.

"Friends and Flowers"

Good Morning Blog friends, thank you for calling by yesterday and leaving all the good wishes for Hazel, they do help.   Hazel managed to send me a quick text last night.  I was rather snippy with John yesterday, he is so very understanding, thank goodness.
John and I are off up to Aberdeen today, this is our Wedding Anniversary.  We were married in Aberdeen where I lived at the time.  We then moved to Dundee where we had bought a flat and John worked.   We live out in rural Perthshire now, approx 20 miles from Dundee and Perth so not too far to travel if we need shops.  Luckily I am not a shopper although I do like to have a look now and again.
Today`s card is one I made some time ago and actually sent into the Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine.
It is featured in this months edition.

Base card 8 x 8 from Joanna Sheen
Purple and Lilac card for matting
Piece of white card run through Spellbinders Paisley M-Bossing Folder
Lace threaded with ribbon
Flowers made using Spellbinder Bitty Blossom Die
Leaves using the Foliage Die
Tag and Sentiment set I got as a gift from my friend Elaine
The one thing I do like about this card is that little bit of Mirri, that spoils it for me, you live and learn.....

That`s it for today
Thank you for visiting I really do appreciate all your comments and of course those Good Wishes for Hazel

"For the Proud Grandparents"

Good Morning dear Blog friends, thank you for calling in today great to have you visit and leave your comments.
Have you seen the number of followers..........I can hardly believe it, it will soon hit that 40.  I do have a little  gift to give away but it is just little........................
Hazel I am thinking about you!! this is the last part of your long haul.  My regular visitors from when I started my Blog know my sister/best friend Hazel has had a tough past 6 months to say the least. Today she goes into hospital for her Radio Therapy.  It is to be done over the next three days, downside is Hazel will be isolated and hooked up and in bed for 12 to 16 hours with no visitors.  So far during her Chemo treatments the staff have been absolute treasures.  I am sure they will be the same for this part and will keep her going with all the chat and banter.  Hazel has read my Blog every day from my first post, although she never comments on here she does text or chat to me about my cards.

My card today is one from my Stock Box.  I have a few variations on this card, some with ribbon threaded down the side where the punched holes are, also in pink, blue and pale yellow  This is a staple and great for that last minute call I get when a new baby arrives.  I do it in pale yellow for people to buy before they actually know what sex the baby is, but most really like to wait till they know what colour they want.

Base card 5 x 7 approx
Punched borders using a Martha Stewart Punch
Backing paper and image from the very first crating CD I ever bought
"Craftyjack`s Backgrounds and More"
Little swing tags printed on the computer, matted on silver mirri and matching card
These are attached to the card with silver Jump Rings

I have sold and used myself so many variations of this card.  I do try not to ever make two cards the same but there is a limit to this one.....................!!!

That`s it for today
Hope you all have a great day
Thank you for popping by I really do appreciate it

"Bit Box Birthday"

Good Monday Morning Blog friends.  Thank you for popping bye today, great to have you visit, I enjoy reading all your comments fairly keeps me wanting to craft.
Have you noticed I now have 32 followers, soon be at 40.  I have a few nice bits for my First Blog Candy when it hits that number 40
Hope this will be the start of a great week for you all no matter what you do.

Apart from the base today`s card was made from my "Bit Box"  A quick card was needed to post in an envelope in the village post box.  Well!!! Blog friends as you know my "stock" cards definitely need a box to accommodate those "roses"! no rose but we do have a butterfly

Base card 5 x 7 approx
Spellbinder M-Bossed piece of card
Pink scalloped edged "waste" from cutting the Asian Accent Border
I just knew that would come in handy.......!!
Piece of white ribbon just enough to pleat
Backing paper left from a previous project
Butterfly and sentiment from scraps that luckily matched

I added some Cosmic Shimmer white Pearl drops on the centre of the flowers on the embossed piece, also on the i in Birthday and down the body of the butterfly.  There was not enough ribbon to tie a bow but I think the pleating works OK, a stamped Happy Birthday to complete

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling in it really is appreciated

"Little Grace" and no Roses

Good Morning Blog friends, well can you believe it, it is Sunday again!!   Is it just me or are the weeks passing really, really quickly?
Welcome to my "Crafty Corner" thank you for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments, I love to read them all.

No roses today as promised !!!
Yesterday I was having a rummage and found a few Digital Images I had printed out some time ago.  For some reason, also cut them from the page.  This of course restricts in what dies you can use once they are coloured.  Got round that one by just cutting round the image..................we crafter`s always find a way!!!
Had an afternoon of "Colouring in" and fair enjoyed it.  I am not really a Stamper, I do have loads, I actually like digital images, you can print them in many sizes.

Base card rather bigger than usual at 5 x 8 approx
Yellow and  purple card stock matted to give very narrow borders
Backing Paper printed from one of my downloaded Nitwit collections
Spellbinders Basic Lattice Die cut twice and fitted together for the length
Ribbon over the join although the join was not really visible
Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die cut distressed round the edges
My image is Sugar Nellie`s "Grace" a download from
coloured using Copics
A triple bow of ribbon from my stash
Pearl from Wild Orchid Crafts

 That`s it for today
Thank you for visiting I really do appreciate you popping in
