"Bit Box Card"

Hello Blog friends, what a fantastic day we have had, sun, sun and even more sun.  I hope the sun shone you you as well. What a difference, makes you feel so much better to see the sun.  Only downside today it showed up my really dirty windows.

Thank you for calling by today, I love having you here, receiving all the lovely comments you leave, makes my day.

Robert is fine, children are great at being down one day and up the next.  Still not eating at the rate he normally does but I am sure he will make up for it over the weekend.

I have a few projects on the go at the moment but not getting very far with any of them.
My card is one I did for my Stock Box last week.  I was on a using up the Scraps in the pile plus bits from the Bit Box kick!!!!

Base card a 6 x 6 card
Pink co-ordinations card
Piece of pretty floral paper I think came out of a magazine
Scraps of Green, Pink and Cream card from the Bit Box
The cream bits I embossed
Buttons cut using an old Sizzix Die
Wire flower and some ribbon to finish off

That`s it for today
Have a fantastic weekend, hope this beautiful weather stays and you all get a share of it
Thank you for popping in, I really appreciate it

I just love it when I have used something from my bit box, but I must admit it does tend to keep building up more and more! One of these days I'll challenge myself I think this looks really great.

wat a lovely card, I think we all have a bits box mine is no so much a box as a room as when i finish a project i tend to put things to one side then keep on adding to it the pitfalls of having a room just for craft Inow have to sort this room i have already filled a 75 liter box wiv scraps so i think a chasrity that makes things with the elderly will be getting this lol sun shinig here have a good weekend glad Robert feeling better ttfn Sue x

  14. Morning Patricia, This is a beautiful card, and who would have know that it was a 'use it up' card, I need to make some of these as I have boxes of odds and ends.
Glad that Robert is feeling better, children are so resilient, down one minute and up the next, thankfully.
It was lovely here this morning, very frosty, thought it was going to turn out a really sunny day, then the clouds came over, hopefully later in the afternoon it will clear again as it did yesterday. What a difference the sun makes, it really lifts the spirits.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  19. Hi Patricia,
this is a fabulous example of using up your bits out of your bits box. I need to take a leaf out of you book and start to use up some of my bits and pieces.
I love that paper you have used. That flower reminds me of a few bits I got given from South Africa. Must try and use them soon.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.

  22. Very pretty card Patricia, my " bits" box just seems to keep growing, I must stop cutting new sheets and try and use up my scraps, it's such a waste isn't it. We've had a lovely sunshine weekeng here in south birmingham. We had our granddaughter to stay saturday night and we took her to feed the ducks today, she wore us out! Dee x
