Hello Blog friends, welcome to my little corner of Blogland. I hope you are all well, if any of you are feeling a bit low I send you a BIG ((((Hug))))
Oh! My! can you believe it! I have another new follower Dunja a hundred thousand welcomes to you. If I could remember, I could have said that in Gaelic.
One of the goals I set myself at the beginning of this year was...."to step out of my comfort zone more often" try some new things. Being a Virgo I am rather set in my ways. I like the things I like and done my way, I feel I have not achieved very much. I have tried to give myself a good shake but even that has not worked.
However Tomorrow/Saturday/Sunday/Monday will find me doing something I have not done for quite a few years..............................I am going out to "work".
I am going to be working all day on those days with Elaine in the Tearoom. Her daughter is off on a break that had been booked and payed for long before they thought of the Tearoom. When Elaine`s daughter and her partner said they were going to cancel I said not to. I would go in and help her mum, Oh! man! why did I do that. I have helped for the odd hour/two hours at a time but all day for 4 days I must be mad.
Today`s card is very much in my comfort zone......................Roses.
Base card 5 x 7 Centura Pearl from Crafters Companion
White card embossed using a SB Embossing folder
SB Floral Oval cut in Black card. I actually cut two and stuck them together to give it a little more depth.
Leaves cut using SB Foliage Die and a Crealies Die
Roses made using SB Blossom Five Die
Organza ribbon from my Ribbon Box
Hazel and I would like to mention, that from the sale of the Pendants, a Raffle and from donations, we have donated to The Day Chemo Unit at Ninewells Hospital Dundee, The Day Chemo Unit at Perth and The Maggies Centre. Hazel`s daughter is running a Disco on Saturday to raise funds for the Maggies Back Up Team doing the Bike & Hike this year.
Thank you to all who helped us achieve this.
That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Till next time
