"A little Shabby Chic"

Hello and welcome, thank you for popping by today.
Wow! it was Hot, Hot, Hot, here today.  It started off quite cool early this morning but Man! did it heat up.  We actually had spells of cloudless skies letting the sun blast its heat.  I sat outside for a while, totally in the shape I may add  (I don`t do sitting in the direct sun).
Had to retreat to the lovely cool of the house.    Not a lot of crafting done, I think the heat has frazzled my brain a little more than usual.  I did manage to put this card together, not great but it is something.

Base card 6 x 6 white card
Piece of paper that was in my bundle no idea where it came from.  Probably a Freebe from a Magazine
I distressed the edges using a pair of scissors
I found a great tool for Faux Paper Piercing which I used round the edges.  Some more practise needed I feel
Die cut shape using a SB Die by Sue Wilson and SB butterfly
Cheery Lynn leaf and swirl Die cut, one of a few I got from a very generous fellow Blogger as a gift.
Die cut flowers using a Britannia Die.   Centres of the flowers are waste from Die Cuts.
Greeting Banner & Stamp set by Marianne Collectables

That`s it for today
Thank you for taking time in your busy day to come visit I really appreciate it.
Till next time
Hugs

  6. All these ladies up so late!! I need my beauty sleep so I was fast a bo bo's when you posted this. After a good night's sleep the second in a row I am raring to go so I go and look at what everyone's done and you are the only one who has done anything bar me! Nobody seems to be crafting at the moment.:(

Anyway your card is very fresh looking with the colour you have chosen. Cards don't have to be fancy or have loads of embellishments to be nice. Sometimes less is more.

  10. Morning Patricia, I'm loving this weather, I am trying to spend as much time as I can, outside. I had to do my front garden twice last week, at last my weeks and weeks of re-seeding and re-seeding over and over again, and my nightly spraying, has paid off, the grass is lush and the best it has ever been. When Graham comes home for lunch, we eat it under the parasol outside, and he never wants to go back ha ha !!
Your card is beautiful, as always, the colours are my faves and the flower and foliage is gorgeous, also loving the scroll, idea for a sentiment. Love it.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  11. Hi Patricia,
it was a little bit cooler in the south yesterday, as we had a lovely north wind blowing.
Fab card as usual. Those Britannia Dies do make some very nice different flowers, don't they.
    Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  12. Hi Patricia, my mojo is definitely still in West Wales where he decided to remain when I returned. Lol! I don't sit in the sun either but we have a huge sun parasol that I can sit under for short times. Lovely card today. It's a while since I did shabby chic. Enjoy your day. Christine xx
