"That Box" a different way

Hello friends and followers, welcome to my little corner of Blogland.
Glad you decided to drop by today
I hope you will leave a comment so I know you called.  I really love that you come to visit.
Met Hazel this morning, have not seen her for 2 weeks.  We have chatted every day but it is much nicer to meet up and chat.
Not getting much crafting done my wrist is really rather painful.   I am right handed but my! goodness! I do use my left hand far more that I ever thought.  However I did manage to use some more of those Die Cuts that made up the boxes I showed yesterday.  Here is another way to make them up.  I saw this idea somewhere while Blog Hopping but I really can`t remember where I had stopped off!!!!...do you ever do that??  I do far more Blog Hopping with my iPad than I ever did on the PC.  It is great fun but you can use up so many hours.

My Box today is made using some Kraft Card and the Heartfelt Die from yesterday
Scraps of paper from my Heartfelt Creation Delicate Aster Collection pad
I have also decorated the back but not the sides
I decoupaged the Flower & Bud, I popped some Micro Beads in the centre of the flower.  I decoupaged the Butterfly for the top
Hung a little Padlock Charm on
So there you go, another way to use the Heartfelt Creations Die
That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

  4. Hi Patricia,
another of your wonderful boxes. great use of the die.
Fab papers used on this gem.
I do hope your wrist soon gets better. Try rubbing a little Lavender oil in it, or Olbas Oil that usually helps.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  7. Morning Patricia, I hope you are feeling a little better today. I know what you mean about use of your left hand, I broke my left wrist years ago, and I couldn't believe how much I used to use it. Try some Arnica Gel on your painful areas, it is really good.
Your gift box today is gorgeous, as is everything you do, I love it !! and those papers are 'delish'.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  10. Gorgeous papers on your box Patricia. We don't realise how much we use our non-dominant hand. If we are right handed and we want to open a bottle then we hold the bottle with the non dominant hand and actually exert quite an amount of pressure with it. The important thing with an upper limb disorder is to rest it COMPLETELY, not just stopping crafting. Even housework adds it's toll so try and give that a break too (very hard for you Patricia!). Then start again in a small way for short periods of time and having a beak in the middle. Hope this helps and that you can soon get back to crafting again. Christine xx

  11. Patricia put your arm in a sling then you won't be tempted to use it!! If you leave it free you will always use it for something. Christine is right total rest is the only and fastest cure. Now lecture over.

Love your box and the papers used are lovely glad you used some scrap pieces for it.

  14. Well big sis I think you have been well and truly told off, and that the message is to rest that hand of yours!!!. But knowing you that isn't on the cards, just remember I had to do as I was told last year, especially by you. So instead of making beautiful little boxes and cards do nothing, or do colouring in of images you can use in the future.
