"Quilled Tags"

Hello Blog friends, well, we had a beautiful day here today and what a difference.  Washing done and out, did not dry much but it got the fresh air.  Housework done really quickly amazing what a little sunshine through the windows can do.................................mind you it fairly shows up the dirt on them!!!!!
Thank you for taking time to come and visit my little Crafting Corner.    Welcome to my latest follower Dee, thank you for joining my Blog.   I do hope you enjoy looking in and maybe get a little inspiration now and again.  I know that when I go off on one of my Blogging journeys I get loads of great ideas.
Sorry Folks  Hazel Text me to say there was no Picture..........................my computer skills being tested once again!!!!   I was there last night, like me it surely slept in this morning!!!!

When I was having my clear out last week I found a jar of Quilled Flowers and leaves.  This is the kind of things I like to do rather than sit and read or watch television.   I am sure I will have had something in mind for them, that was ages ago so guess what??    I have forgotten..........it`s an age thing!!!!   I decided I had better use them so here we are three "Tags"

I cut the two bigger tags from white card the middle one is a Bog Standard Luggage Label used to price the Rugs and Carpets we used to sell.
The"tags" are made, just need to wait till I have parcels to put them on.   Wonder if I will be able to find the "tags" when I have the parcels...................................!!!!

That`s it for today
Thank you for popping by I really love having you here and I do appreciate all your lovely comments.
Yes! I do read each and every one

It`s a Rose Again"

Hello Blog friends.  Thank you for calling by my little corner of Blogland great to have you here.
I hope you enjoy your visit.  If I manage to give you just a little bit of inspiration and encouragement I will be very happy.
Today`s card is one I made using Bits and Pieces that were needing cleared away.  You know the scene these Bits go in a Pile till you know they HAVE to be tided away.   Rather than do that I decided to use them.  Gave myself a challenge to use as many of the bits as possible.   Apart from the Base Card everything else is "Bits and Pieces" left from cards I have been working on.   Some of of it would have gone in the bag that I keep for the boys school.  There is still plenty left for them.

Base card approx 5 x 7 Centura Pearl
Pale pink Co-ordinations
Paper printed from My Craft Studio Floriography CD No2
Doily a Cheery Lynn Die I had cut and did not use
Perfume bottle was made from a Spellbinder Christmas Ornament Die also cut and never used over Christmas.   I chopped off the bottom and top.  Made a silver top for contrast.  Did some Stickles on the bottle to give it texture.
Card embossed using Spellbinder Folder, edge cut using Borderbilities Dies
Rose made from the printed MCS paper
Crealies die cuts for the foliage
Pearls and Dazzler form my stash
Triple Bow from Organza Ribbon

That`s it for today
Thank again for popping in I really do appreciate it

"A little Distressed"

That`s the card not me......................!!!
Thank you so much for popping in today, great to have you share my little crafty corner.
Met Hazel, this morning had our catch up of chat.  We were both commenting on the change to Wilma (Scottish Crafter`s) Blog.  Has anyone else noticed that you cannot link to her blog from her comment on your Blog???  Sorry that seems rather long winded I hope you get the drift.   I am having to go to Wilma`s Blog  from the list of Blogs I  follow.  Hazel said that she manages to go from the link at the bottom of the page you get when you click on Wilma Brown.   Will try that when I do my catch up.

My card today uses the piece of pink Co-ordinations that was left after I made yesterday`s card.

Base card approx 5 x 7 white card
Dark pink Co-ordinations
Pale pink Co-ordinations
Pink Co-ordination embossed with Spellbinders Paisley Embossing Folder and sanded
Pink Organza Ribbon tied in a triple bow.......sorry that loop on the top right will be adjusted
Two Stick Pins, one I made up that the loop is covering up.  The other a bought one
The heart is metal, could be taken from the card and popped on a ribbon or chain

Why is it not until you are staring at the picture right in front of you that you notice the mistakes in the photography

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it

"Back in my Comfort Zone"

Hello Blog friends, glad to have you call in today.  Thank you for taking time to comment on my work, I love reading all your lovely comments, that`s what makes it all worth while.
John and I popped up to Blairgowrie this morning approx 8 miles north of us.  Oh! Man! there is still loads of snow there, and it is such a sort distance away.  A few weeks ago we could not get to Blairgowrie the road was................ flooded!!!   Glad we went today, that road could easily be flooded again tomorrow the fields are very flooded and it is now bucketing rain plus the melting snow.
Meeting Hazel tomorrow, missed last week because of the snow.  We have a lot of chat to catch up  on even though we do chat every day on the phone.
As you can see today`s card is back in my Comfort Zone.  I am not really a stamper or one who really enjoys colouring in.  I like colouring in but not for my cards.

I found the Die Cut shoe and sentiment when I was having my clean out.

Base card approx 5 x 7
Pink Co-ordinations card stock
White card embossed with the Tied Together Embossing Folder
Cosmic Shimmer Pearl for the pearl effect on the links of the folder
I used the Die Cuts I had found
Added a little bow and a pearl buckle on the shoe just to finish it off

That`s it  for today
Thank you for calling by I really do appreciate it

"A little bit of Colouring"

Hello Blog friends, our snow has almost gone, thank goodness.
Thank you for calling into today and for all your lovely comments on my work.
I have said it before but without you coming to visit and leaving comments all this Blogging would not be so much fun.  I find when I click on to one of your Blogs I see something else, click on that and I am off.   I then go on a great journey of creativity.  What a wonderful amount of fantastic cards and projects you can come across when you go Blog Hopping.
I have come across great ideas BUT!!  at a later date when I think I would like to have another look.  I have not a clue how I ever found it and how to get back to it.
Can you believe, this morning  I actually managed to go for a long walk with my friend and neighbour Isobel.  Donned my pink spotted Wellies, hand knitted socks, plus all the other gear.  We were though the fields, woods and along the old railway line.  It was great to blow away those cobwebs.

After lunch I did not know what I wanted to do today, I keep seeing all these wonderful cards that are beautifully coloured.   So I thought I would have a go at some colouring.  I do some now and again but it is not the first thing I would think of when needing to make a card.

Base card 6 x 6
Digital image from D`Arcy`s Diary coloured with Copics
Some paper that I found on my clean out last week
Brown and cream card stock
Cream American Seam Binding for my bow
A button, some lace and black gem for her earring
I have not put a greeting on till I decide what I will use it for

Once I saw the card on here I realise I should have matted my main piece of paper onto brown card as well.  To late!!!! so it will just stay as it is.

That`s it for today
Thank you for popping in I really appreciate it

"All the Best"

Hello Blog friends, at last the snow is beginning to melt.   No rain thank goodness, I did think it was raining when I woke this morning.  When I listened it was not raining, it was the noise from the burn that runs down the side of our garden, Oh! my! Word! the water is really racing down there.  Also the water dripping off the guttering, and the trees.
Thank you for calling by today, really nice to have you here.  I was checking on my recent followers.  Thank you for joining me in my little crafting corner.  Unfortunately some of you do not have Blogs that I click on to see what you are doing.   However I am glad you have chosen to follow me and look in on what I get up to.  I hope you get a little inspiration along the way.

Today`s card is one I made for a nurse at the Doctor`s Surgery.  Thank goodness apart from getting a B12 injection every 8/10 weeks I am not a visitor at the Surgery.  The nurse is moving on to bigger and better things.  I do hope the move is all that she hope it will be, she is a fantastic person as well as a great nurse.

Base card 5x7 white card pierced round the edge
Pink card stock
White card embossed with a Spellbinder embossing folder
Pink dotty paper from my Bit Box mounted on burgundy card
Crealie Die for the flowers made with scraps from my Bit  Box
Crealie, Spellbinder and Marianne`s Dies for the foliage
A few pearls in the centres
Computer generated sentiment

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for popping in I really appreciate it
