"Thinking of You"

Good Morning Blog friends.
Thank you for popping by today, I love that you take time to come and visit my Blog.

I am sorry I have not been posting quite so much.
Since Sue Wilson wore one of our Pendants and spoke about it on her 4 Day Deal Show, on Tuesday evening.  Hazel and I have been rather busy.
We have had lots and lots of enquiries and a fair amount of orders, we are both delighted.  The only downside is that I do not have the same amount of free time to "puddle about" on the computer keeping my Blog up to date.
If I have not been in to visit you these past few days, you now know why.   I will catch up soon I promise.

We have managed to keep on top of the orders but we are running out of choices of beads.  John and are down in Harrogate next week from Thursday till Monday.   I am hoping to get to the Great Yorkshire Paper Show.   OK! OK! I know it`s the Paper Show, hopefully there will be some Beads on offer.  I have not been to this show for years but there are usually beads on offer at this type of show.  Lots of crafter`s use beads on their cards so I am sure someone will take the opportunity to sell them.  We do buy lots on the internet but it is nice to see and feel some now and againA
Thank You to everyone who has shown interest and bought our Pendants.  They are hand made to raise money for Cancer Charities/ Facilities in our area.  We keep the money local as Hazel had all her treatments and care where we give the money.

My card today is one Hazel ordered for a friend who is going through a bad spell.  Hazel just wants her to know that she is thinking about her.   It has to be posted so I kept it quite flat.

Base card is slightly bigger than 4 x 6  white card stock
I cut a second front cut out an oval then embossed it using a dotty embossing folder
Attached this raising it slightly with foam pads, placed a smaller oval in with the greeting
Spellbinder Die-Lites Poppy Patch cut and gently coloured with Copics
Ribbon and bow to finish off.

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate your comments they make my day

Off to be busy with beads...........................my only fear is "spilling" them..........LOL!!!
Hugs

Oooppss!!  I almost forgot.
A couple of weeks ago I had lots of problems with the "New" top on the Cosmic Shimmer Glue.
I squeezed it too hard the whole top came off and covered my project with glue.  This happened twice and I was rather upset.
However I e-mailed Creative Expressions and the lovely Linda has sent me 2 bottles of glue with the old style top.  They have gone back to that, PLUS a copy of the new Project book.  So a BIG thumbs up for Creative Expressions.

"Todays Pendants"

Hello Blog Friends, thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my Blog today.
I would aslo like to welcome all my new followers.  Thank you so much for joining me on my Crafting Journey.  I really appreciate you taking time to stop by and look to see what I have been up to.

I do not normally put up 2 post in one day.   I felt I had to give the information required to order one of our Pendants.
Hazel and I are still on "cloud nine" hope we don`t come down with too much of a bump!!!!!
Since Sue Wilson mentioned our pendants on her 7pm show last night we have had quite a few requests.  Sue has also passed my e-mail and Blog address on to some of her contacts.

For anyone who would like to order a Pendant please contact me at:-  pjdtrimbush@aol.com
I need to know what colour selection you would want also which shape I have put these up to give you an idea of the shapes, and what they look like........Shapes are Teardrop, Heart or Circular.    Colours.........we can do almost any colour as long as we can get the beads.  These are all hand made, there is absolutely NO WAY we can make two the same.  Every time you make one the beads go their own way, we just go with the flow.

The money we raise from the sale of the Pendants goes to the Cancer Centre at Ninewells Hospital Dundee where Hazel received all her Treatments, they were so good to her.   We also give to the Maggies Centre which is situated in the grounds of the hospital.
For any of you who do not have a Maggies near, check their website they are opening up all over the country.  They do a wonderful job supporting people with Cancer, they also give fantastic support to their families.

That`s it for now
Thank you once again for your interest
Hugs

Just keep scolling down to see what I originally had up for today

I am having a problem linking back to some of your Blogs..................I am not ignoring you and I will get there when I can.

"That Die"

Hello Blog friends, well we have had yet another stunningly beautiful day.  Very frosty first thing but that soon went when the sun got up.
Thank you for stopping by to see what I have been up to today.

Firstly, Hazel and have been doing "Happy Dances" across our floors today.  Sue Wilson was on C&C with her 4 Day Deal and she was wearing one of our Pendants.  Well one of Hazel`s actually, Hazel makes the Teardrop shaped ones, I make the Heart and Round Shapes.
By 8pm we were really dancing................Sue gave us a mention on her show telling the story of the Pendant she was wearing.

Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday about Thomas` Gift Bag for his Mum ..........now to set the records straight.  Thomas 8 and Robert 6 are both very good boys but I can assure you they are no angels!!!!  They have lots and lots of good in them but of course that`s not 100% of the time.  They would not be boys if they were always good.  Mind you when they are here Grandpa can only see the good in these boys.   Granny has to deal with anything that might result in a telling off.

I have been very, good and spent NO money on any of the things in the 4 Day Deal although I was  tempted.  I did notice the price they were asking for the Die I have used on my card.  I got this Die Christmas 2011 from John and Audrey as part of my gift.  At that time is was only £17.99 I know because I had ordered from Crafter`s Companion for them.   Today they are asking £28.99 or £26 and pennies if you were a club member.  My goodness that`s a very big jump in price for any Die.

.

I posted this card some time ago but I thought I would show it again because it uses the Die they had on today.

Base card approx 5 x 7
White card pierced round the edge
Brown Co-ordination embossed with one of the A4 Spellbinder embossing folders
White card stock cut using a Heartfelt Die
Blue ribbon from my stash
Roses made using Spellbinder Blossom Five Die Set
Spellbinder Foliage Die for the leaves

Sentiment done on the computer mounted onto a Tag Die cut a pearl to finish

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate you taking the time to view my Blog

"Little Gift Bag"

Hello and welcome to my wee corner of Blogland.  Thank you for stopping here I really like when you do that.  If you have a moment to spare please leave a comment, that way I click on and get back to see what you are doing.
Another nice day here no sun but Hey! Ho! no rain so that`s a big bonus.
When Thomas was with us on Saturday he asked if we could stop at a shop so he could buy his Mummy a bar of chocolate.  Audrey a Midwife was to working Night Shift Saturday.  He told us Daddy always bought her a bar of chocolate to take with her for her break, he would like to do it for a change.  So having stopped and bought what he wanted (Grandpa paying) he decided he needed Granny to wrap them nice.

  Here is what we did:-
I had a large circle already cut and lying in my pile of "stuff!
We folded it with approx a 11/2" channel along the base
Made a little box base to place inside
A circle frame cut in half using classic circle Dies to use as handels
I made the rose while Thomas cut the leaves using the Cuttlebug
The handels and the rose show the reverse side of the bag card
Inside is a large Crunchie and a packet of Rolo
We used a Velcro dot as a closure for the bag

Have not seen or heard from Audrey but I am sure she will have been delighted.
That`s it for today
Thank you for popping in I really appreciate it

"The Tilted Teapot"

Hello Blog friends, I really can not believe that we have had fantastic weather over the weekend.   For us that is a whole week of very Spring like days.  There are Snowdrops and Crocus in abundance all over the place, it is beautiful.   I do hope you all have had the same, it makes you feel so much better.  When you meet people they "smile".   If any of you are feeling a bit poorly I send you a big HUG and hope you feel better soon.
Day 1 & 2 went very well at the  "The Tilted Teapot" tearoom.  John, Thomas and I went along on Saturday approx 10.30am.  There were 3 sets of 2 people having coffee and cake.  They were new faces, not friends who had popped in to see what it was like.  When we were there some other friends did come as well as some more new customers.  Elaine text. me Saturday and this evening to tell me they had done very well and are delighted.  Having a good start always helps, she said it will probably not be busy during the week.  I really don`t know, there is not anywhere to stop for coffee between Perth and Coupar Angus (20miles)   Even then you have to go off the bypass, the coffee shop is in the bakers and only 3 tables.
My card is the one I made and we took along with some flowers for opening their new venture.

Base card is Centura Pearl cut using the largest Die in Spellbinder Circles one set
Some backing paper cut using next Die down in the set
House mouse image die cut using the next Die down in the set
Butterfly and Teapot charms from my stash
I cut a Teabag from a big teabag and re-assembled it
Added some bakers twine a "The Tilted Teapot" tag

That`s it for today
Hopefully now I have a little more time I will get back to some crafting
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate you stopping to look
