"Positive & Negative"

Hello Blog friends, I think "spring" has come to this part of the country at long last.  We have had a wonderful day, the sun shone, the air was warm, the washing was hung outside and it dried completely.
A very quick post the boys have been here for tea, Grandpa picked them up from school, they love that.  John has taken them back home, they wanted to stay but I am up early and off to Inverness in the morning.  Goodness knows when John will be back when John Jnr and him get together they can chat all evening.
Hazel, my friend Elaine and myself are going up to Inverness to meet Kate (Cullisocks).  We are all going to NEC in Birmingham in November.   We hope to get a few meet ups in before then but this is our very first, face to face meeting, all very exciting.  We had this planned a few weeks past but had to call off because the road was blocked with snow.   If we get a day like today it will be a stunning journey up to Inverness.

Today`s card is made from the waste after Die cutting the foliage image.
I used other bits from my "bundle" for the rest of the card
I think the Die is a Cheery Lynn Die it is a purple Die
Base card approx 31/2 x 5 perfect to pop in with a gift
Piece of Black card
Cream card I Die cut another piece of foliage from, then cut the foliage to fit how I wanted it.
A rose made from another scrap of the cream card, lightly brushed over with some Distress ink just to highlight the tips of the leaves.   I made the rose using SB Blossom Five

That`s it for today off to get my bits and pieces ready for an early start tomorrow.  I will pick up Elaine then meet Hazel.   All aboard the bus for a good old chat on the 2 hour journey up to Inverness.

Thank you calling by my little corner of Blogland I really appreciate that you take the time to visit.

"Heart Lattice"

Hello Blog friends, thank you for calling by, I love to have you here.  I do hope that you get a little bit of encouragement and inspiration from what I show you.  I know when I click on the Blogs I follow I have a great time Ooooing and Aaaaing at all the wonderful creations.  So many different techniques, so many talented people out there.
The wind is still very fierce here, much brighter today than yesterday when it rained and better rained all day.
We went up to Blairgowrie this morning and the river Ericht that we cross is well flooded it was like looking out to sea rather than a river
My card today is an idea from a Blog I clicked onto..............it was a "Sketch Challenge"
I have never made a card from a sketch before.  My card ideas are usually running though my head at some point.  I do have note book that I jot ideas in, the only problem is....................when I go back and look at what I have written or/and sketched I have not a clue what it is all supposed to mean!!   Gives you an insight as to what kind of mind I have, rather muddles I would say.

Base card 5 x 7 white card stock
Piece of card stock embossed with one of the new SB Embossing Folders by Sue Wilson
This one is Heart Lattice, the card was finished when I noticed the hearts are lying on there sides.....
I used bits and pieces of papers from Tilda Paper Stack Kitchengarden for the rectangles and also the flowers
SB Floral Oval for the centre piece using Pink CoreDinations card stock
Flowers made using SB Blossom Five Die
Leaves using a Crealies Die
Ribbon and Pearl from my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for your visit I really appreciate it

I have entered this card into "Die for a Sketch"

"How simple is this"

Hello Blog friends, thank you for all your lovely comments on my last card.  I really appreciate that you take time to do that.

Well today has been "WILD" Oh! My! Word! that wind was and still is fierce.  There are big tress down one side of the garden where I park my car.  I moved it to the other side of the house, John just laughed.  He said would not not be better putting it in the garage.    Now! I am daft but not stupid .......what if one of the trees came down on the garage, my car would be trapped!!!!!   "I" would be trapped as well no buses anywhere near here and sure as anything John would need his car when I would want a car.

  .
I forgot about my neighbours birthday, I don`t give a gift but I like to pop a card in the door.
I remembered just after we had dinner, her Birthday is tomorrow.  John puts the card though the door when he walks along to pick up the papers in the morning.
I have cards made but I wanted to use this Embossing Folder I have had for a while but have not had time to play with.

Base card approx 5 x 7 Centura Pearl
Centura Pearl embossed using a Crafters Companion 8 x 8 embossing folder
There is a defined plain band dividing the patterns, that`s where I have placed the ribbon and bow
I added a pearl in the centre of the bow and 3 small Pink Pearls at the side.
Just realised I have not attached the Happy Birthday which will go just above and to the left of the 3 small pearls.

That`s it for today thank you so much for dropping in to see what I have been up to

A Little bit PINK""

Hello and welcome to my little corner of Blogland.  Thank you so much for calling by today, I really love to have you here.
If this is your first visit ......Welcome, I hope you like what you see and pop back.   If you have time please leave a comment so I know you called.
I have to say "Hello" to Gail who has been commenting on my Blog.  Also Marlies who is my latest follower, thank you for joining me in my wee creative corner.   I cant link back to Gail as she does not have an active Blog but thank you for visiting and for supporting Hazel and I in our fundraising.  Hazel and I really appreciate the support of all who have bought our Pendants.

I think spring is coming..........................!!!!  We have had a rather nice day and I can honestly say the bitter cold has gone out of the wind.   Sunny, still very windy but that fairly dries the clothes.

My card today is just "A little bit Pink" I found a couple of sheets of the pink card and just had to use it.  If only to get it out of the box

Base card 5 x 7 White Centura Pearl
Pink card, white card, pink card embossed with the Free Embossing folder in the Crafter`s Companion magazine.  It is a border folder, the pattern is rather nice.
A Memory Box Die cut twice to use as a border top and bottom

Cheery Lynn Butterfly Die
Tiny Tonic Punched Butterflies
The white flowers are waste from a punch I embossed them on my mat to give them some depth.

I have entered this in  "In The Pink Challenge" Flying Away.

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
