"Three Gift Bags"

Hello and welcome, great to have you here.
Thank you so much for taking time in your busy day to come visit my Blog.
Well folks  .....  we have had summer this afternoon and evening.  This morning was not too good but by lunch time the clouds parted and the sun came out.  Just wonder what tomorrow might bring, hopefully more sunshine.
Hazel and I were going to go to Aberdeen to see Sue Wilson in action tomorrow/today depending when you read this.    Unfortunately Hazel still has her visitors,  I could go on my own but it would not be the same without my Best Buddy.   John did offer to take me if it was the driving that was bothering me,  the driving would not really bother me.  It just would not be the same without Hazel.
I have been having a mammoth, tidy up of my crafting "stuff" getting lots things finished off.  Today it was the turn of the Gift Bags.  I had cut and made six them a couple of weeks ago, they were all sitting waiting decoration.  I finished them all off today.  Roses made, placed on the bags along with some leaves using SB Foliage Die and some tissue popped inside.  They are all lined up waiting to go along to the Tearoom.

If any one is interested there is a Tutorial for making the bags and for the roses.  The are both on my Blog posted back in November.
Tutorials are:-  2nd November for the Roses and 4th November for the Bag
Now if I was clever on the computer which I am far from!!   I could have added a link somewhere, sorry folks you will just have to scroll back if you want to see how to make either the  Roses or Bags

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for popping by and leaving all your lovely comments
Till next time
Hugs

"Graduation Congratulations"

Hello and welcome to my Blog, I hope you like what you see.  If I can give someone out there just a little bit of inspiration I will be very happy.
Well today the weather here was awful .... nothing new there then!!  The forecasters said it would rain in the morning and brighten up in the afternoon.  I tried hard to believe them!!!!  Rained from approx 4.30am stopped and brightened for a while about 9am.  Great! John and I decided to go out, got 3 miles along the road, looked at one another ........ nah!! lets go back home.  The sky ahead was so black, you could actually see the rain in the distance.  Back home grabbed in the washing just in time.   Did dry up later in the afternoon, windy and not very warm.
Guess what? I just had to resort to Crafting.  It was clear up and tidy up crafting.  There were loads of cards I had made with no inserts or envelopes.  That`s them all sorted, inserts made, envelope and card in a bag and priced for going along to the Tearoom when Elaine gets back from holiday.  Others had to go in boxes and a few had to have envelopes made to fit.   I really must make my cards to fit the envelopes I have.

Today`s card is for a customer who likes to have my roses on most of the cards she orders.  She wanted this card for her Granddaughters Graduation.

Base card a white scalloped edged card from Joanna Sheen
Pale pink card
White card embossed using the Tumbling Hearts Folder
Computer generated Greeting (as requested by the customer) cut out using SB Banners Die
Roses cut in white using SB Blossom Five Die inked very lightly with pink
Leaves SB Foliage Die
Some pearls from my stash to finish off

That`s it for today, thank you for popping in and for all your lovely comments, I really do appreciate them

"The left over Bits"

Good Morning  and welcome to my wee corner of Blogland.
Thank you for taking time to pop in and see what I have been up to.
The weather here yesterday was better not cracking the pavements sunshine but much brighter.  When I  went to meet Hazel believe it or not I actually wore a "dress".    Decided that July is supposed to be a summer month so I donned a dress.  We will see what today brings, today is another day.
My friend and neighbour Isobel loves making Jam.   With the strawberries we picked on Monday evening she has made me 8 x 1lb jars and 2 odd small jars.  I supplied the jars and the sugar, Isobel did the hard work.  Isobel is a fantastic Jam Maker and has won prizes for her Jams.  Goodness know how much she has managed to make for herself.   She makes for her son and daughter, they both have children they get through lots of Jam.  I feel another "foraging trip" coming on soon.

You will recognise bits on today`s card, they were in my box of bits from my latest makes.  I don`t put them in the general Bit Box any more.  I now use as many as possible, it is amazing what you can make if you put your mind to it.

Base card 6 x 6 white card
Piece of backing paper from a Rob Adams CD (from Monday`s card)
Purple card, I decided to emboss
Card left over from the boxes I made for Hazel`s card gifts
A Tattered Lace Die I had cut and never used
Happy Birthday Die cut from the Tattered Lace set
I popped a few tiny "waste" flowers on to give some depth without costing when posted

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in and for all the lovely comments you leave I really do appreciate them
Till next time
Hugs

"Very Quick Card"

Well folks what has your weather been like today...........???   Ours has been absolute RUBBISH!!!
Pouring rain, miserable and rather cool, I am so sick of it.
While we have this rain John, Audrey and the boys have a rather hot 111o.  They are coping but not getting as much traveling done as they had hoped.   The AC in the car is all well and good till you step out, then it is rather hard to cope with the heat.
Thank you for popping in today, afraid I do not have anything much to show you.  I really could not be bothered to even craft.  I did tidy up some of my "junk" that was lying about.  I made a very quick card with bits that had been printed and just left in the pile!!  Really must get that tidied up.  I have printed off  Digital Images to colour in, have not got round to that yet either.    I ordered some Prisma Pencils with some advice from Jacqui (Jacqui`s little piece of England).  They still have not arrived which is rather annoying.  Patience Patricia, patience, I do not have much of that I am afraid.

Base card is a pre-scored DL card ......Oh! my! Word! how long have I had them in stock??
The Decoupage and backing paper is from the "Fabulous Fashion" CD.
The greeting, I think was from a Freebe pack in a magazine
Apart from doing the decoupage the is nothing other than matting and layering on this card

That`s it for today, off to give myself a good "shake" see if that helps
Till next time
Hugs

"Especially for You"

Hello Blog friends, how has the BIG switch over from Google effected you.
I am absolutely hopeless on the computer so I buried my head in the sand.........so far so good.
Have not tried Blog Hopping have not had any free time today.
If I have not commented on your Blog I do apologise, I will get round every one A.S.A.P.
The world spun round so fast to day I never managed to get off at the right "stop".
Monday is "Busy" day here, house done end to end. Although the sun was not shining brightly here it was dry and windy.  Got all the bedding washed and out, dried when the second load went out.  Got everything washed, dried, ironed and put away so a great day.
Isobel and I went off "Foraging" in the Strawberry Field along the lane at the back of my house. Think we ate more than we gathered.  A very quick post, Isobel and I did not get back till 9.45.  The sun came out late this afternoon and shone through the clouds, it was still shining when Isobel and I got home.

Today`s card I made the other day
Base card 6 x 6 white card
Purple card stock
Paper printed from my favourite Rob Adams CD "Gingham, Polka Dot, Check and Tartan Backing Papers"
Circles cut using SB Dies
Flowers using Heartfelt Creations, Delicate Asters by SB
I cut them out using  purple card.   Plus lots of others from bits of purple card in my Bit Box
Foliage is a memory Box Die
Some pearls from my stash to finish off
Sentiment a stamp I found in my Stamp Box

That`s it for today I am off to have a seat and a cuppa
I promise I will get round to you all soon
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Almost White on White"

Hello Blog friends, hope you have had a good weekend.
Well almost the start of yet another week, where are they all going??
Weather here over the weekend was dry but cold and windy, even had the heating on the other evening.   One thing I will never ever scrimp on is warmth.  I could stop buying "crafty things" if  I needed to spend the money on heat, difficult but I would do it.
Nothing exciting here, the boys are still away enjoying themselves.  They started off by flying from Glasgow to Philadelphia where they spent a coulpe of days.  Train up to New York for 4 days  they flew from there Saturday and are now in California.  Picked up a Hire Car at the Airport and headed for friends where they will base themselves and be off travelling every day.

My card is almost all white
Base card approx 5 x 7
A piece of textured card cut slightly smaller and attached
A piece of the same card running in the opposite direction mounted onto white card
Memory Box Die cuts plus a little bit of a SB border I found in by Die Cuts Box
I touched the centre of the flowers with Squeezed Lemonade Ink on a Paintbrush
SB Butterfies also from my Die Cuts Box
Some Pearls from my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling by I really appreaciate it
Till next time
Hugs
