"Card Class makes"

Hello and welcome to my creative corner.
I will mention now that I will probably not get round to commenting on all your Blogs this evening.
I love that you come visit me and leave all you lovely comments for me  .......   BUT tonight I am "shattered" to say the least.
The Tearoom was extremely busy today.  Run off our feet we were.   Elaine is an absolute Whizz in the kitchen, thank goodness we do not do full meals we would never cope.     We serve things like Homemade Soup, Toasties, Paninis, Baked Potatoes with lots of different fillings.   Teas, Coffees, Scones and Cream Cakes ....... Mmmmm!!! the cream cakes are to die for!!!
Today Elaine and I had our lunch a 3.30pm even then we were interrupted.   It went quite so we thought   ...  Right lets eat.   We did get most of it eaten when 4 ladies came in for Afternoon Tea,  that started more people coming in.  The Tearoom closes at 4.30 but we were still clearing up at that time.
I am scheduling this for later.  Off to have a shower, get my PJs on, feet up, there is good chance I might just fall asleep.
Today I am showing you what we did at the class on Tuesday past.
A few of the ladies wanted to make this box. I have a few made and in my cabinet for sale.

Box and card front are cut from Tilda card/paper
The box is cut using Heartfelt Creation Die "Gift Ensemble" HCD 735
You have to cut the shape out 4 times to form the box......a lot of cutting out to get them ready for the class.
Base Card is 4 x 4 then using up what was left from the 12 x 12 sheet of paper after cutting out the box
"Thank You" is a Stamping Up Stamp (ladies had a choice of what they wanted to use)
Ribbon for the box and bow on the card.
My boxes for sale are decorated but the ladies were delighted with what they managed to do
We will get round to making Roses for decoration sometime soon.  Some of the ladies I know would manage but some are far from ready to start making them just yet.

That`s it for today
Thank you for taking time to call round I really appreciate it
Have a wonderful weekend
Hugs

"Friendship"

Hello folks and welcome, hope you are all well.  If you are a bit down here is a ((Hug)) I hope it helps a little
I have another new follower  ...  Jennifer Swandells   http://jenni45.blogspot.co.uk/   Thank you so much for choosing to join me on my journey though Blogland.  Hope you like some of my creations, I will be delighted if they give you just a little inspiration.
Well what horrible weather we have had today, I think it has been general and we have all had a fair share of the rain.  John and I were to go out today but   ....   I don`t do rain.
I some ways I am glad I did not go out.   I have so much to catch up on.  Cards, cards and more cards needed for people.  Don`t know about anyone else but I have these orders and lost for ideas.    I have trawled back through some of my old cards for inspiration but nothing.  I ended up doing almost a copy of a previous card for one of them.   Thank goodness some are not needed till next Wednesday.
I am working in the Tearoom with Elaine tomorrow, so there will be no cards made.
We always seem to have a struggle with the coffee machine when I am in.  Wonder if it will be any different tomorrow!!!!  Gillian (Elaine`s daughter who owns the Tearoom) say`s we really should not be left together but she needs her weekend off..................LOL!!
My card for today is one I made during the week.  It is not very good, will be used at some point I am sure, at the moment it is lurking in the bundle at the corner of the Dining Room table.

Base card white 6 x 6
Brown Paisley Patterned Kanban Card I have had for ages
Pink Coordinations cut using SB Grand Labels One
Brown Coordinations and White card cut using SB Fancy Ovals
I cut the brown one in half,  placed the rbbon over the join before attaching to the back of the white one slightly offset.  I did this to give the impresson of another layer of the same Die
Did some Cosmic Shimmer Pearls unfortunately the one in the middle at the top right smudged, you see the "mess" nothing I can do to fix that
Tied a bow, hung a little Coffee Pot charm on and added a LOTV greeting that came on a sheet in one of their Pads
Really do not like this card but Hey! Ho! they can`t all be winners

That`s it for today, off to tidy things up before Elaine arrives
Thank you so much for coming to visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

Hugs

"Card, String & Button"

Hello and a Big Crafty welcome to everyone who visits.
I know I keep saying this, there are people who pop in here, leave such nice comments and I unfortunately can not return the favour.   They don`t have a Blog or I can`t reach them with this Google Circle thing.  I really appreciate you still come.  I enjoy visiting all the Blogs I can.
Oh! My! Goodness! I go on great travels clicking on things just to see them a bit closer.  That leads to seeing something else  ...  a couple of hours later I have no idea where I started but I have seen so many wonderful creations from so many talented people.
That`s is a "down side" of an iPad I can do all that from the comfort of my armchair rather than sitting in the office.
Beautiful day here today if rather chilly.  I don`t like the cold, I can cope much better if the sun is shining.
Met Hazel and some friend this morning.  Had a good old chat and a laugh.
Hazel has booked the tickets for the NEC in Birmingham.  Hazel used Tesco vouchers  (a heads up from Mrs Duck) got the 4 tickets for £12.00   ...   how cheap is that?? £3.00 each, a real bargain.   Talk about doing things on the "Cheap" we got Cheap Flights, Cheap Rooms in the Airport Travelodge now Cheap Entrance Tickets.
I needed to make a birthday card for someone I knew would not like "fussy" ..........  no Roses or Ribbons for them.  This is what I came up with.

White pre-scored 6 x 6 Base Card
Kraft card
Backing Papers were from the Bit Box.
The papers were printed off Rob Adam`s Gingham, Polka Dot, Check and Tartan CD
I have used this CD so much I keep thinking I will wear a hole in it
Joined the two papers added them to the Kraft card, cut two 1/2 circles on the sides using a punch
Some Bakers Twine and a button from the Button Box
Stamped Greeting on a piece of the Kraft card
Simple card which I hope they will like when they open the envelope

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate that you take the time to visit and leave a comment.
I read them all
Till next time
Hugs

"A little Tag Card"

Hello Blog friends, first day of yet another week.  Where Oh! where are they all going??
Welcome to my new follower Doda  http://dodadidit.blogspot.co.uk/ I am so glad you have decided to join us here.   Doda is from the highlands of Scotland, she has some wonderful things on her Blog.  There is a beautiful Window Hanging using the new Tonic Dies on her Blog it is really worth having a look at.
We have had a beautiful day here today, got the washing all dried, just need to iron it now.  Hopefully get that done in the morning.
I am a bit behind today, finishing off all the "Bits & Pieces" for the Card Class tomorrow morning.  If I don`t get round to commenting on your Blog Post for today please forgive me, I will get there I promise.
We had a great time here yesterday, boys even managed a 7 mile bike ride with their Grandpa.
John, Audrey and I had a great chat.  We had our dinner, plates well cleared so that`s a good sign.  Birthday cake yet again, I will really have to cut down this week.  Birthday Cake on Thursday my actual Birthday then again yesterday.  There is sill a bit lurking in the box, maybe the birds need it more than we do.
I managed to watch most of Sue`s shows.  Oh! how I wish there was not that wasted 1/2 hour to start with.  I did not order any Dies or Stamps I really do have enough.  It is great to see all the wonderful things that are done with the new ones.  However the same happened when Sue showed the last lot of new Dies and Stamps, we all jumped on the Band Wagon and bought.   Have we all used the Dies we bought then??  I did buy the "felt" I have Die Cut the felt I have but it was not a success, hopefully this wool felt will be better.

A little Tag Card today
I used a piece of card that was left over from the "Bits & Pieces" I was cutting for the classes
It is "Tilda" Paper/card from the KitchenGarden Paper Stack
I cut a Tag Shape in white card covered that with the Tilda paper
White card to Die Cut SB Fancy Lattice Die.  I placed that on the Tag shape and cut round it, then inked the edges
Rose made with SB Blossom Five Die inked with TH Fired Brick
Leaves Heartfelt Creations Foliage Die
Stick Pin from my box
American Seam Binding tied in a Triple Bow.
Now I see the picture I am going to pop a pearl in the centre of the bow.

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for taking time to come visit me I really appreciate it
I do hope you visit again soon
Till next time
Hugs

"Following the Trend"

Hello Blog friends, how are you all??
The weather here today is shocking, however we will still have a great day.
John, Audrey and the boys are coming for Dinner this afternoon.
I do hope they wait till after 2pm..........till Sue has finished her show!!!!
Table all set, dinner preparations well under way so I can relax for the 2 hours.
Hazel, Elaine and I had a fantastic journey up and back from Inverness yesterday to meet up with Kate.  The weather was great, the scenery was just stunning
We had a great day, went to the Palace Hotel for lunch, sat all afternoon chatting and laughing till our cheeks hurt.  We decided to go home on a later bus this time giving us another whole hour of chat.   Oh! My! Goodness! time still went in very quickly.  We also sorted out the arrangements for our trip down to Birmingham in November.  Seems early to do that, however Hazel is off to Canada in a few weeks.  When she comes back she is off again with her hubby to Birmingham to an Army Reunion Dinner.  So all in all we really needed to get things rolling.
OK folks I did not have anything new that was actually finished off to show you today.  I have decided to "jump on the Bandwagon"  sorry about that.   Here is one of my Origami Boxes.  I always have some of these ready on hand for unexpected gifts.  Yesterday Hazel gave us some good ides as to what to pop in them.
"Mini" products ..... start off with a piece of tissue then nestle in a Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Lip Balm, small flat pack of Wet Wipes and a small Astral or Nivea Cream ... YES!! you get all that in one of these.

My box is made using my all time favourite Tilda paper/card .  I love these pads, have lots.  I do use them I do not admire, stock, kiss them and put them away NO!! I use mine.
Lace and ribbon from my Stash
Roses made using SB Blossom Five
SB Butterflies
Crealie Die for the leaves and a few pearls

You get a wonderful Tutorial for these boxes on   http://flowersribbonsandpearls.blogspot.co.uk/p/tutorials.html
Go Tutorials on the Top Bar select Video Tutorials scroll right down to the very bottom.  You will find it there under Origami Boxes..................look, enjoy and make

That`s it from me today
Thank you for pooping by I really appreciate it
Till next time
