"From my Bits & Bobs Box"

Hello fellow Bloggers and followers, hope you are all well.
All fine here at the Ranch.  Been a fantastic day here, the sky was blue, the sun was shining.  What a difference the sun makes.  John and I took ourselves off over to Cupar in Fife this morning.  Stopped at the Craft Shop ............WOW!! what a great shop.  It is in part of the local Carpet & Curtain Shop, a father and son business.   However the son (a keen crafter) is taking a bigger and bigger part of running the business and has seen a gap in the market.  There are no good Crafty Shops within a 50 mile radius of his shop. He has converted part of the shop into a Craft Area and he is still expanding.
We then popped a few miles along the road to see Hazel & Charlie.  We had lunch with them and a great chat.  Hazel is off on holiday in a few weeks, I will be over to meet her, we will have a good tour round the Craft Shop then.  Just the two of us so we can Oooo! and Aaaa! and spend, spend, spend till we have no money left.
Welcome Di_wray my new follower, thank you so much for deciding to join me.  I hope you will pop back now and again.  I could not link back to you, I take it you do not have an active Blog!!!
Scrumptiouscrafts.blogspot.com
had a CriCut machine on her Blog for sale at £45.00.  It might be away by now but what a bargain for someone.
The other day I was tidying up "Stuff" that was lying about.  Before I put my "Die Cut Bits & Bobs" box away I had a wee look through it.  Here is a card I made, only had time to make one but there is definitely the makings for more in there.  The only thing not from the box is the base card.  That was made from an off cut, I managed to get a 6 x 6 card from that.

I'm impressed with your gorgeous bits and bobs card. You have a nice sized box for your B&Bs. I had one that was too small and morphed into several boxes and I never remembered to look in any of them. Extra kudos to you for using your extras!

  3. Great card Patricia. Love the central die, which is new to me. I am using more an more from my mine too. Incredible what I keep finding. I am also making some flowers from some small bits in there too. Your craft shop sounds wonderful. Like you I have to drive miles. I tend to use the papercraft fair at the National Motorcycle Museum as my local craft shop lol! It's there every two months so well worth the 45 mile drive & back. Hugs Christine xx

  15. Just learned you have a fabulously talented sister Hazel! Talent must run in your family! Lucky you all, to have each other to share supplies. That's a gorgeous die she used on her blue & white card. Simply elegant. Hugs & hope your day was fun, productive or relaxing, whatever you needed it to be!

  16. Oops, thought I'd previously left a comment on today's card share. Didn't see it, so here goes - maybe again! With blogger lately, who knows. What an elegant & delightful snippet card. Love all the lacey fancy rectangle die against that white EF, and your flowers & topping fancy die were really stunning. Liked the different colors on each embellie too, they meshed together to make a beautiful card. TFS

  17. Oops again! Forgot to say: You will LUV knowing Miss Di. She's our playground leader, and is always so generous & helpful, not to mention doing all the grunt work at the Playhouse so the rest of us can just play & get into fun mischief. Glad you found her. or she found you. Whatever. She's my Angel Guru for all things blogger & just in general! :-}

  18. Hi Patricia great news about your craft shop. I think they are getting few and far between now. My favourite local one unfortunately closed down I was gutted we still have 3 in the near vicinity but they are not a patch on that one. Your card is gorgeous as always! Have a wonderful weekend, Susan x

  19. Hi Patricia

Always good news when a craft shop pops up. I hope it does well for them.

A couple of the smaller and more personal ones have closed now that Hobbycraft and The Range have made an appearance nearby. Such a shame.

Loving what you created from your bit box. Always a good feeling to empty it a little isn't it.

Hope you have a good weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  20. Morning Patricia, How lovely that you have found this 'Aladdin's Cave' of crafty goodies, I wish we had one near me, we have Hobbycraft and The Range, all the small craft shops closed because they couldn't compete with the online stores, but there's nothing like being able to go and look and feel at things you want to buy, rather than just seeing a piccie on your laptop. Also you tend to spend more money because you see more goodies haha.
Your cards from your bit box are always stunning, you have the ability to combine beautiful die-cuts and colours with gorgeous flowers, and always create a 'Work of Art'.
I am in the throes of having my multi-fuel stove in the living room taken out and a new one put in at the moment, stupidly I did my cleaning yesterday, as usual. Graham thinks I'm stupid I think, but I didn't want them to see any bits or anything haha. I've retreated to the conservatory, and my cat Lizzie was most indignant when they arrived as she had got herself all cosy on her cushion on the sofa, her usual routine haha, she's now stretched out in front of the gas heater in the conservatory.
    Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
