"White on White"

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all safe, dry and well.
The weather has had a devastating effect on so many people, my heart goes out to them.  I know the toll it has taken on my friend, I certainly would not wish that on anyone.
Got up this morning with great intentions of going to HobbyCraft in Dundee to see if I could spend the Christmas Voucher I got from the boys.  As time went on, I changed my mind.  I am really not good at this time of year.  I could quite happily go into total "hibernation" till the weather gets better.
Just stuck to doing some crafting, Mr Mojo is slowly showing himself if only for brief spells.   Like me I don`t think he likes this time of year, mind you who really does??
Had John, Audrey and the boys for a meal yesterday.  Everyone seemed to enjoy it going by the empty plates and dishes. Dad, Grandpa and the boys had great fun playing "Hide & Seek" in the house.........while mum and I did the dishes and caught up on some chat.
Robert had them really stumped.  They were looking for him for ages, panic started to set in I could see and feel it.  In the end they had to demand that he showed himself.  He had been sitting on a wooden box that John has in the bottom of the cupboard in the office. They had all looked in there but only at one side of the cupboard.   He is a very loveable "cheeky" wee boy.  Oh! Boy! was he delighted that they could not find him!!!!!........... Fun and games!!!

My card today is "white on white" with my favourite Roses........not chocolate ones
I have eaten most of them!!!

Base from A3 card stock from PM Direct cut to approx 5 x 7 plus some matts & layers

Thank you so much for taking time to come visit me.  I really do appreciate every visit and comment you make.
Till next time
Hugs

  4. Mr Mojo returning then? This card is gorgeous, you never loose your touch especially the roses. Your voucher can be spent later but I know the feeling that you may loose a bargain if you leave it too long.

  10. This really is lovely Patricia, I made my first white on white Christmas card recently and must admit I was quite pleased with it, I am definitely going to do more. You must be really pleased with this one - it certainly is perfect. Just love it.

Thank you for the tip about putting the whereabouts of Christmas made items in the December part of my diary - this is a darn good idea and as I had a big diary (for Christmas) for my blogging and DT work, I am going to put the idea into practice. Thank you sooo much.

    Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

  12. Hi Patricia
Loving the white on white. Very crisp and elegant.
Unfortunately, we seem to have sprung a small leak in our kitchen extension roof. The rain wasn't as bad as before and we had no issue. but I guess the wind was in the wrong direction tonight. Will be a couple of days before I can get up there to fix it (yes, me. . . Mr Duck hates heights!!!)
Hope tomorrow brings better and brighter weather for us all.

  20. Morning Patricia, this is a gorgeous 'wintry' card, love white on white and your design is beautiful. I could hibernate through January easily...it's back to work today and I do actually feel like I've been putting off participating in the world outside my house since about New Year's Eve! We took the decorations down yesterday and now the house feels all sad..no, I wish normality could wait til the Spring:) Carole Z X

  21. Morning Patricia, Like you, my heart goes out to the people affected by the terrible floods, and we have further flood alert warnings today, I remember your friend Pearl was out of her house for such a long, long, time, it was heartbreaking.
I love your white on white card, the embossing folder looks stunning, and the ribbon threaded through the die-cut looks stunning, and the flowers and leaves are magnificent. Love it !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
