"Flowers but NOT Roses"

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all well.  If not I send you a few (((((hugs))))) in hope that they help.
Thank you for visiting today, I love that you call by to see what I have been up to.  Also thank you for all your lovely comments I love reading them.
Met Hazel and our friends today had a nice lunch, lots of chat and a good laugh.
After today`s post I will not be back till after the weekend.  I am off on my travels with my friend Elaine.
Elaine has a very busy life, and an extremely demanding family.  Other than coming to me on a Thursday evening she gets little or no "me" time in a week.  If she is not working at the Tearoom she has her Granddaughter Mia 22 months or her Grandsons 10 & 12.  They have plenty money and can buy most things they want when they want.  I really struggle to buy gifts for Elaine.  However for Christmas I gave her a voucher (made by me) for a couple of nights away just her and me.  A Hotel stay, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast in either Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow.  Elaine chose Glasgow, I have booked us into the Holiday Inn near Buchanan Street Station really good for the City Centre and some Retail Therapy.  I pick her up 8am tomorrow, I have told her to leave her phone at home.  I will bring mine, we can phone our OH`s tell them we have arrived then mine gets switched off as well.  Her family never give her a minutes peace even when she is away trying to enjoy herself.  They constantly check up on her, thank goodness once John knows I have arrived that`s it.
Today`s card is one of a few I have made for my cabinet at the Tearoom

Base card 6 x 6
Paper printed from Perfect Papercrafting Companions CD by www.creativecraftingworld.co.uk
Peach & Cream Card Stock from a Lidl Card Pack
Floral circle a Memory Box Die
Leaves a SB Die
Flowers a combination of Heartfelt Majestic Morning Die and a Cheery Lynn Die for the Stamens
Stamped sentiment
Pearls form my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for visiting I really appreciate it
Till next time
Have a fantastic weekend
Hugs

  2. A really lovely card Patricia. That flower die is great. Hope you have a fabulous few days away. Mobile phones are a mixed blessing unfortunately. I think in the future we will evolve and be born with a mobile clamped to the side of the baby's head. Lol! I really don't know why people have to rely on them so much. We did manage to have a life before their arrival!! When I'm away, like you, I let John know I've got there okay and that's it. If he really needs to he can get hold of me. Hugs Christine xx

  23. Love what you did with the MB wreath with your beautiful added flowers. Makes it so much more dressy. Good idea and when I can make flowers as gorgeous as you, I'll try this myself! Love the sweet blue background and your so-even piercing border. My goodness, that is so evenly done. You're a good friend to treat your buddy to a wkend on the town, and I'm sure you both will enjoy it so much. Don't buy anything I wouldn't like! Good for you on the phone issue too. I hope you can both stick to it! TFS & Hugs

Your card is stunning, I'm glad you mentioned the peach and cream card, as on my laptop it looks a beautiful blue and white !!, why can't these laptops give the right colours !!!!! haha. I'm loving the flower 'wreath' in the centre, I keep looking at that, after this I will 'have to have it' haha, and the majestic morning booms are stunning. Loving everything about this card.
    Have a lovely time, both.
