"Very Simple Wedding Card"

Hello Bloggers and followers, hope you are all well and coping with the weather.  As I type this, it is "fair and quite bright" will not say any more just in case it hears me.........!!!
Thank you for calling by, I hope you like what you see and call back again soon,   I love having you here.
Hazel and I had a great time at the Stampin Up Day yesterday.  Great Consultant (Emma) who had gone to a lot of bother preparing 3 projects.  Way, way different from the things I normally do but I loved that.   I know I get myself into my own "wee crafty world"  because of what I like to do.  I always say it is MY hobby so I can please myself.  I do try other things, although when I look back it does not last long and I am back with my old ways, and happy about it.
Bought a few Stamp Pads, I love the colours they do and the quality of the pads.  A few others things that you just have to have!!!!!!  Hazel and I bought some of the card packs which we will split between us.  All in all I think everyone enjoyed themselves.  Two of the ladies that cause me problems in the Card Class did the same with Emma, surprise, surprise.

This is a very simple wedding card.  I did not know the couple that very well but wanted them to have our Best Wishes
Base card approx 5 x 7
SB Paisley embossing folder
Piece of lace from my box
Another piece to tie a bow
Stick Pin
Paper flower
Computer generated sentiment

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
 Hugs

Patricia  xxx

Wow! that`s me finished and the "sun" has come out, off to have a look before it disappears

  3. The embossing is lovely Patricia. This is an idea card for somebody who you don't know well enough to be aware of their taste. It's quite generic, yet pretty none the less. Enjoy the rest of your day. Christine xx

May be simple but its so pretty and delicate. Glad you and Hazel had a lovely time yesterday. What's with Staedler and Waldorf? (If you remember the two grumpy so n' sos who sat in the box overlooking the stage on the Muppets). At least they are consistent in their behaviour!
    Here's to a happy week with a bit of Sun on your cheeks. . . . . . Don't go there!

  19. Hi Patricia, So glad you both had a good day and got some 'goodies'. Those two ladies must be permanently 'picky', one day someone will give them a 'taste of their own medicine' haha.

We had a bit of sun today too, it so lifts the spirits doesn't it.

  27. Hi Patricia a lovely wedding card there. Loving the lace and the flower.
Shame a couple of folk spoilt the crafty day for you on Saturday but I knew you'd enjoy the SU part. Have fun with your new products when they arrive.

  28. Such elegance with the pristine white emboss folder & the lovely lace & pearly stickpin, with just that touch of delicate pink on all the white. Beautiful card, and perfect for a wedding. So happy to hear you & Sis had a good time. It's good to go out of your 'comfort zone', but I agree..it's fun to learn, but then you go back to what feels 'comfortably you'. (at least I do!) So good that you & your sister can share supplies & double your stash. Happy to hear you had fun on a day's outing. Thnks for sharing this gorgeous card today. Enjoy your nice weather too! Hugs

Beautiful Wedding card, I love this folder from SB, its been on my wish list for a while but there you go, cannot afford everything lol! It does look fantastic though, great card for a great occasion.

Glad you both enjoyed yourselves, not a surprise about the usual two suspects!

    Love & Hugs

  30. You know, what you said there about being in your own little crafty world really spoke to me. I've made more cards in the last month than I have in a long time but I've felt they were rather simple. Then I realized that this is how I make cards. When I tried to do more it just didn't work for me and I quit making cards. I should just hang in my own little crafty world, do what I like and be happy with it. I can still admire all those fancy cards like the wedding one you shared here (and fancy schmancy it is!) and I just shouldn't fool myself into thinking I should make like it.
