"Golden Wedding Wishes"

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who happens to pass by.  Thank you for taking time to come visit, I really enjoy that you do that.
I have to apologise if I have missed commenting over the past few days.  Time is flying by and I am still working on orders, nearly finished thank goodness.  Lets hope that`s it for a while
Very busy here at the Ranch over the weekend.   Boys here for a sleepover on Friday till late Saturday afternoon.  Great fun though, we took them over to to visit Auntie Hazel & Uncle Charlie on Saturday.  On route you just happen to pass Poles Apart Craft Shop in Cupar, Fife.  It would be bad manners to pass the door of such a wonderful shop and not pop in.  There is a great Play Park plus a Railway Station near by.  Grandpa took the boys to play, then watch some trains while Granny browsed in the shop.
Anyone who visits St Andrews or lives within driving distance of Cupar you really must pay a visit to the Craft Shop.  They are featured in Making Cards Magazine this month.  The welcome you get is fantastic with the offer of a cup of Tea or Coffee immediately, loads of free parking ....what more can you ask for.
Along to Hazel`s for a nice lunch, boys sat and watched their choice of DVD while we all had a great chat in the kitchen.
Sunday (today) I have been busy trying to complete that order for cards.  After I finish this I also have to Die Cut hundreds of flowers for the project we are doing at the Craft Class on Tuesday.  We are doing a Wicker Heart Wreath, there are approx 8/10 flowers/leaves on each and I have them to cut......!!!!!
Here is one of the cards from my order.  I know the couple who will be receiving it do not have a computer so will not be looking at any Blogs including mine.

Base card approx 7 x 7
Embossing Folder inked with TH Squeezed Lemonade, white card run through to give a delicate background
Computer generated sentiment mounted on some SB Die Cut Ovals
SB Blossom Five for the Roses
A Britannia Die for the leaves

That`s it for today
Off to finish the cards and get on with the Die Cutting
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

  23. Morning Patricia, I bet you are still die-cutting the flowers etc !!!
So glad you had a lovely day with the boys, and what a fabulous idea to go visit Hazel via The Craft Shop, that was genius, Patricia haha.
I'm so loving your Golden Wedding card, gorgeous faux letterpress on the background, I am still to try that technique, but it is so effective, and the flowers, as always, are stunning.
Have a lovely day, we have a thick frost this morning and the sun is out, lets hope it stays that way, as we have had horrid torrential rain and massive hailstones over the weekend !! yuck.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  31. Beautiful card Patricia, love the embossing, I am at present finishing off another wedding card and I have d-embossed but with Silver Embossing powder (Could have gone better lol!) as there is no silver distress ink as far as I know? You have done this effect with distress inks so beautifully, the die and flowers are gorgeous too, I am sure the recipients will love it.

    Love & Hugs
