"Mothers Day in Pink"

Hello Blog friends, followers and casual passers by.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland its a pleasure to have you here.  Thank you for taking time to stop and look, comments are always very welcome.
I have been a bit naughty not doing a lot of commenting these past few days ... sorry about that.   I have had a terrible cold, I have been dosing myself in an effort to be well enough to get to the Hobbycraft Show in Glasgow tomorrow.  Seem to have cracked it, still not 100% but as John told me I have never been 100% all the years he has known me so not to worry myself!!!!  Mind you I must have been worse than I thought, we popped to Perth this morning.  Needed to get a few things which could have waited but I thought a little trip out would do me good.  Glad we did, we were walking past a Travel Agents with bargain holidays in the window a couple of them caught John`s eye.  Now to let you understand we "DON`T" do package holidays have not done in donkeys years, always do our own thing.   Anyway we are off to Turkey for a week at the end of April.  Not one of the bargains I may add.   They were horrible flight times and hotels with all the noisy things for children.   Had to come home and have a good look at myself in the mirror......I think I look OK..................!!!!
Hazel, Elaine, myself and another friend are off to spend some pennies at the show tomorrow.  I really do not need anything but you all know the score......LOL!!!
I managed to get my head round making a card this afternoon, here it is:-

Base card 8 x 8
Pink Card a mixture of Lidl & Co-ordinations
Tilda patterned paper/card just bits from my box
SB Blossom Five for the Roses
SB Foliage and a Crealies Die for the leaves
SB Tag Die
MieFlower Organza Ribbon

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next Time
Hugs

  1. Beautiful card Patricia. I do love the deep pinks. I hope you all have a great day tomorrow at the show. This is the first year I have missed it for years. Jan and I went twice a year and made it our day. I just decided because of the situation not to go this time around. Hugs Rita xxx

  3. Hi Patricia,
superb card yet again. Such a very pretty pink. I was so gutted after I used mine of this colour, as it's such a fab pink. I wish they would get this back in. I need it ASAP. lol.
Love your superb roses as usual. I must have a go at flowered paper ones. In all the roses I have made I have never made flowered ones.
Enjoy your visit to Glasgow. I'm off to the NEC in a couple of weeks.
Can't wait as I'm meeting up with my sisters who I haven't seen for a year. I did save a lot of pennies to go, but soon realized I wouldn't be able to carry a lot so had a spend on the internet for the heavier
    items.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
