"Texture & Embossing"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all who just popped by for a visit.  I thank you for taking the time to do that, I love having you here.
Welcome to Jessica who has become my latest follower, thank you for choosing to be interested in what I have to offer. I did link back to your Blog.   You have a Blog, I notice you have not been Blogging for a while.  Maybe you will start again soon it can be so much fun.
Did the "Rose Making" class yesterday, we had a great class ....... no rebels ..... they stayed well away.  I had one new lady who is in fact a very experienced Crafter but had never attempted doing Flowers before.   Really enjoyed having her there and from what she said she enjoyed the experience.  She does very "Grungy" type crafting, doing classes using the Gelli Plate, inks, paints etc:-  Have managed to persuade her to do some classes at the Tearoom.  So messy Crafting here I come.......!!!!  Do not know when she will be starting but I will be there, really looking forward to it.
My card today is different for me once again.  I enjoyed making it, I really have to get out of my comfort zone more ofter.  Looking at it again I have not come out of the zone too far, it still has my "signature" flower there. Anyway here it is:-

Base card 5 x 7 white card
Turquoise card from a Lidl Card Pack embossed with Brick effect
White card embossed with Bark effect inked with TH Frayed Burlap & Peacock Feather
SB Vintage Lace Die
Punched Velum Flowers pieces inked
Stamens WOC
Seam Binding Bow
Marianne Foliage Die
Odd piece of lace and a few pearls

I have entered this into  http://www.frillyandfunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/stencils-and-texture.html
I was picked with their Random choosy thingy and have won $25 of Crafty Goodies.
How great is that!!!!

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling today I really appreciate it
Till next timer
Hugs

  8. Grungy is so far out of my comfort zone. Even the steam punk I do is "neat and tidy" . Lol! Looking forward to seeing whatever you produce at that time. This is lovely. I really like that bark effect. Might have to add that to my wish list. Hugs Christine xx

  10. Hi Patricia
Very shabby chic. . . . . I think: always get a bit confused about what's shabby chic and what's vintage.
The embossing is lovely and crisp. Well done you winning some goodies. Time to buy a lotto ticket, you may be on a roll !
    Best wishes

  23. It's beautiful..always love your gorgeous flowers. Glad the class went well. Maybe you & the Gelli lady can trade 'learning'. I want to learn the gelli plate AND your roses too! Gelli has gotten as far as my airbrush desk, and there it sits. Working on stencil & paste right now. TFS a lovely card, love the colors & muted shades on this one. Very elegant. Hugs (also glad you liked the funny today. So watch that bacon frying, now heah?)

  32. Hi Patricia, Congratulations on winning the prize, well deserved.
Loving your card, you may think it's out of your comfort zone, but it is gorgeous, loving the embossing and inking.
Well done on getting your new class lady to take a few classes at the tearoom, diversification into other areas of crafting. I would love to get all painty with the gelli plate too, I have one but haven't tried it yet.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  33. Thanks for visiting. I'm not sure that I'll ever get back to the old routine. I just can't seem to chat without Eric's twopennyworth. Not that he chatted but I would go downstairs and tell him what was happening in the crafting world and I enjoyed talking about it. Now I read blogs and leave it at that usually, apart from my DT comments that I HAVE to do. Anyway, I've been through all your latest projects and they're all beautiful - love the Primark heart so might see if I can find some. Enjoy the SECC. What do you think of the ebosser? Am dithering about one. Hazel x
