"A New Rose"

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all well.  I am reading on a lot of the Blogs about the brilliant weather. Tell you what they must have forgotten to include some of the North East of Scotland.  It is bright here today but rather cool to say the least.
All quite at the Ranch this week.....so far!!!
Last week was hectic, painters here all week doing the outside of the house. Finished and looking good again.  The woodwork suffered this ravages of winter this year.
Visitors arrived who needed lots of feeding!!!  We did go out a couple of times to ease the situation.  I do not enjoy cooking, I cook because I have to.  Certainly not one of my favourite pastimes I can assure you.   I used to LOVE baking, I still do.  I do not do as much now, we don`t eat that kind of thing so much now, but I do like baking.
I was trawling some Blogs one day and found a Tutorial for a slightly different "Rose"   I love making flowers so of course I had to have a go.  The Tutorial is on livedream.Blogspot.co.uk belonging to Jennie.
If you have time pop over she does some great Projects and Tutorials.
I had a comment asking about listing any colours I use in Pens.  I really do not do much colouring, if I do it is on a Whim and would just use what I feel like at the time.  If I do any colouring in the future I will try to remember to note what I use.............don`t hold your breath, colouing does not happen often.
Here is a little card using the Rose I made:-

Base card approx 4 x 6 an off cut I found lying about
Backing paper Nit Wits download from my box.  Did not realise till I was placing the Bird House .... I had punched a bit out...... can you see it????
MB Window and Foliage ......  from my Die Cut box
IO Bird House...... also from my Die Cut Box
TH Flower Die I used 2 of the 4 flowers shapes on this Die.
(just discovered I can use TH Dies in my CuttleBug) Doh!!!!

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for popping in I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Beautiful weather down here, in fact its scorching hot!!! Just got in and my conservatory is like an oven and my poor Hibiscus flower has dried up!!! That will have to be moved to another place lol!
We have been forecast to get the bad weather later this week so we shall have to make the most of it.

    Love & Hugs

  15. Hi Patricia
Your card is sooo pretty. I like the rose but I have t say, I think your usual ones are nicer. Didn't notice any issue with the bird table. Lovely background paper too.
We have been basking in sunshine yesterday and today but if it makes you feel better, we're due rain in the morning lol!
Plenty of sun to come for you soon my little Turkish Delight!
    Take care.

  23. Morning Patricia, I spied your cutout too, but it looks really good atop the birdhouse, a beautiful card and a gorgeous flower. I will be popping across to Jennie's Blog later, thank you for sharing.
Lets hope you get some sunshine really soon, I have been really enjoying it over the weekend, although last night it was awful, it was so hot I couldn't sleep, I will have to get the fan out haha. This morning it has been raining quite a lot although now it is getting brighter, that will be so humid, yuck hahaha. Never mind, you will hopefully be getting some gorgeous sunshine in Turkey.
I also love baking, although only do it for Church functions these days, I love cake, but if I bake it, we will eat it hahaha.
    Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
