"Frayed round the edges"

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by.  Hope you all have had a good day.
Thank you for taking time to call by to see what I have been up to.  Not a lot of crafting, we have had visitors from Yorkshire here this week.  They set off for home earlier.
I had an hour with my feet up......well!! in between jumping up and down to see to the painters who have been doing the outside of the house.  Actually they have been excellent and the house is looking good again.
So with visitors and painters I feel a little frayed round the edges this evening.  Elaine usually comes Thursday evening.  However she has phoned to ask if she can come tomorrow evening rather than tonight..........Yey!!!  I can even get to bed early if I want.
My card is also a little frayed round the edges.  Not my usual, but hey! ho! we do need a change now and again.

Base card approx 6x6 cut from A3 Papermill direct card stock
Papers used are from a Tattered Lace Magazine
I stamped and embossed butterflies   ...  why Oh! why I used green embossing power I have no idea.  Did it so just went with it
MB Die for the Floral Circles (2)cut ...  one on top of the other to give depth
SB Rose Creation Die for the flower and leaves.
A few very small stamens, glitter and some pearls from my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Patricia  xxx

  1. First of all I need to apologize for having been MIA for so long, but things at work have been soooooo hectic lately... We were either out visiting customers and suppliers or receiving them. Just didn't have enough time left to blog... But that makes it all the more fun to enter blogland again and to see all of your fabulous creations/cards again! You've done a wonderful job whilst I was away, lol! What a fine card maker you are Patricia! Take care, enjoy your evening, hugs, Ira x

  6. The green picks up the leaves in your design papers which are very pretty. It's good for us to change styles on occasions although it's been a looong time since I distressed papers. You have done this very successfully. Enjoy your rest this evening. Hugs Christine xx

  16. Hi Patricia
Frayed round the edges? Feel a bit like that myself at the moment lol!
I'm not a fan of them on cards I'm afraid but I love the composition and the papers you have used and also, I'm not adverse to the green.
Holidays soon chuck so you can chill before you unravel completely lol!
    Best wishes.

Oh dear, looks like you have had a busy time. Frayed edges, not a fan myself but it's good to go out of your comfort zone from time to time. Love the composition of your card and the colours.
