"Ring of Roses"

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by. Welcome to my little corner of Blogland, I love having you stop by to see what I have been up to.  Thank you for all your lovely comments on my "Oldie for Friday" for the card and the ornament.
We started the build on the Ranch 21 years ago, just about this time.  We did not move in till the following February.  When we moved I needed to do something to meet people.  I did keep up with my friends in the city.  I knew I also needed to meet and make friends out in the country.  An add in the local paper for a Ceramics Class caught my attention.   I had never heard or done anything like that before.  I took the Bull by the Horns and off I went.  Wow! it was one BIG learning curve but I really enjoyed it.  I also met Elaine at the class .... we have been friends ever since.  I made lots of different things (if they were good enough) I gave them as gifts.  A few ended up in boxes for Jumble Sales, some hit the bin and a few still languish around the house, the lady being one of them.
I have been playing with the Susan`s Garden Create a Rose Die.  It is very different from the Roses I use on my cards but it has been fun.
Here is something I have made ...... my Summer wreath for the front door.  Our front door is under a Porch, as long as we don`t get howling gales with lashing rain it should be fine.

A collection of Roses all made using Susan`s Garden Die and 160gsm paper/card
The Polystyrene wreath was one of 2 in a pack I picked up at a bargain price
Ribbon from my stash

Now on the Front Door .....  Ooopps!! just noticed it`s a bit squint.

That`s it for today folks
Thank you again for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

  2. Gorgeous, wow that flower die is a stunner to end up with a result like this, but then you do make the most stunning flowers...so love reading about your ranch, I am a country girl who had to move to Sydney and wow that was a learning process....no one wants to make friends. Now we live in a city called Newcastle and been here 10 years but if you weren't born and bred here you are always classed an 'outsider' so it is back to the country for us one day...

  35. Hi Patricia

I absolutely love your wreath. The flowers are beautiful. So much so I went on line and ordered them. One thing I did'nt check is. Do you think they will go through the eBosser, or the Joy Trouvaille.? All the flowers you make are stunning.
