"Heart of Roses"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all who pass through. You are all very welcome, thank you for your lovely comments on my Bronze Lady, she is my favourite piece in the house.
What a fantastic day we had yesterday, sunny and actually very warm.  Lots done here at the Ranch while the sun shone.  House all done then windows cleaned, all 18 of them ........!!!  Till the end of last year I had a window cleaner come to do them.    However he came just after the New Year, knocked on the door to tell me he had to raise his prices and I would now be £18.00 to have my windows cleaned.  I told him not to bother coming back, that was far too much.  Went online and bought the best piece of "kit" for the house I have ever had ... a Karcher Window Vac.  Absolutely brilliant, even John can manage to get the windows clean.   I get so much done when the sun is shining, love it.
Evening and once again Football on the telly, I sat in the kitchen, no telly on, I made some Roses.
Here is what I did with them:-

Heart £1.00 from Primark.
Roses Susan`s Garden Create a Rose Die
Pink 160gsm paper/card.  I find this the best weight for making flowers
Leaves made from Green Card Stock
Organza Ribbon

That`s it for today folks thank you for all your visits and comments I really appreciate them
Till next time
Hugs

  12. Hi Patricia
Love the rosy heart. So pretty.
Love our Karcher too. Similar thing a couple of years ago with our window cleaner (not for £18 though, blimey!) but we use it on the tiles in the shower and kitchen, mirrors and of course, windows done in no time.Great for condensation in the winter too.
    Karcher advert over now lol!
Have a great afternoon. Off to work now.

  15. Hi Patricia, I'm with you on the Karcher Window Vac, it is the best gadget that I have ever bought too, in fact I have done all the insides of my windows today, and also taken advantage of the sunny and windy day to wash my lace curtains and also the two sets of curtains in my living room, they have blown beautifully on the line, it was an excellent day for drying, my bedding dried in no time, and all the ironing done too. Doesn't it make you feel good when you've had a good old clean, just wish it would stay that way hahahaha !!
Your rose heart is beautiful, I'm so enthralled with your Susan's Garden flowers, that I have been looking online for the dies, they have gone on my very long 'Wish List' haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Superb roses yet again. Love what you have created with them.
You can buy some really natty things in Primark, but sadly we haven't got one near us.

  20. I'm stunned - 18 windows is a LOTTA windows! That's something I need to do to. Never heard of this tool, we just spray and wipe with paper towels! Love this beautiful flower heart. I had your beautiful roses in mind as I struggled with my flowers recently. You do these so wonderful, they look real! I keep trying, but never achieve that fab look that you do so well. Glad you got a lot accomplished in the sunshine. TFS & Hugs
