"Happy Bunnies"

Hello Blog friend, followers and any one who is on a passing visit.  Great to have you here I hope you like what you see and will pop back again soon.
Busy here today, Thomas will be 10 tomorrow he is with us on his own to get his big birthday gift.  Mum, Dad & Robert are coming along later.  We bought Thomas a new bike for here at our house.  My regular visitors will know that John and the boys cycle at lot.  Thomas had outgrown his bike that we thought would have lasted another couple of years .... we are sure he sleeps with his feet in a "grow bag" 10 years old and 5`2"   Here he is with Grandpa both Happy Bunnies.  Thomas delighted with his bike, Grandpa pleased he liked it.  Robert will get Thomas`s old bike and has been promised he will get a "brand new" one on his 10th Birthday.  Thomas and Grandpa have already done a 7 mile "Road Test" trip.

Here is my Crafty offering for today:-
Really just to show you that my "Oldie for Friday" is still in use.
I love to have it just beside me, all the things I need are there at hand.
Off to get some more food for the boys, they have gone together to get some more logs that have been cut.

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

  8. Hi Patricia,
I thought my 10year old grandson was tall for his age as his father is 6 foot 3, but yours looks a lot taller, and a lovely looking lad at that.
Some peoples faces seem to show how nice they are, and that's the impression I get from Thomas's face, I bet he has got a lovely nature.
In any rate HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS and may you have a wonderful day.
Now to your fab card it's very beautiful as usual.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Ah, so that's the lovely new bike. Very swish. No wonder Thomas was pleased. Gosh, he does look older than 10.
A happy birthday to the young fella for tomorrow.
Now to your card. Love it! You know I love a bit of purple action and the fab flowers. Like the "nibbled" effect on the sentiment banner too.
    Best wishes.

Now for a new chapter in the story of the Scottish Tablet!
Just before our family went on holiday to Florida you gave your recipe for Scottish Tablet and I showed it to my daughter who really has a love of anything sweet and like me said it sounded great but fattening. Well they were looking around the shops at Glasgow Airport before flying and what did she see, yes, boxes of Scottish tablet so decided to buy two boxes one for her (long gone now) and one for me. Mine travelled to Florida had a lovely stay there for two weeks and then flew back again! I was handed the rather crumpled box with a plea, don't make any yet please I need to diet first. My son in law told me not to let her anywhere near the box or it would be gone I don't think he got any, but perhaps just as well as he is diabetic bless him. I am looking forward to trying my sample I have already told the corgis they are getting none, but even more so I am really looking forward to making some!
Thank you so much again for the recipe.
    Hugs
