"More Tilda Scraps"

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all enjoying the wonderful weather we are getting here in the North East of Scotland   The sun is shining, the sky is clear blue, no wind, it is absolutely freezing cold but we can cope with that.     Even been for a very long walk.  I walked the 3 miles into the nearest village, popped into the cafe there.   I know the couple who own it, used their loo.  I told them I was not staying for a cuppa as I was walking and would not make it home if I had anything to drink!!!!!!!   We live out in the wilds, plenty fields with high hedges.................BUT in the winter no foliage on them.  When walking I wear a bright purple jacket, cerise pink hat & scarf.  Now I tell you there is no way you could possibly miss me if I was crouched down behind a hedge.  So that`s why I did not have the cup of tea..............LOL
Thank you so much for calling by today, I hope you like what you see and call back again sometime soon.
Can you believe it I have 2 new Followers.....................Marisa Job http://marisadesigns.blogspot.co.uk/ and Mary H  http://carolinacardsbymaryh.blogspot.co.uk/ thank you so much for choosing to follow me ladies.   I feel very priviliged to have you join me, please call back again soon.
I have been missing for a couple of days, that "life" thing got in the way again what a right pain it is. Housework, ironing, making up kits for the card classes on Tuesday all things that take up time.  Anyway I am back with a card using up other scraps of Tilda paper/card.

I had a little bundle of bits and pieces of white card, decided to use them up rather than put them away in the Bit Box.  Some were pure white, others a more creamy white.  I have used them as alternate layers just to use them up.  There was also a piece I had embossed and not used, plus some scraps of Tilda Paper/Card

"Card for a Sketch"

Hello and welcome, hope you are all well, safe and dry.
Thank you for calling by "The Ranch" today.   All quite on the Eastern Front of Perthshire .......we have the most wonderful weather here today.  Sun was shining its little heart out, clear blue skies, little or no wind.   Makes the world a much brighter place.  Met Hazel and our friends this morning.  Great catch up of chat, every one was saying how wonderful it was to get back into the old routine.  The only problem is..........there are getting more and more ladies wanting to join us for Wednesday Morning Coffee.  We started out just Hazel and I, we kept meeting 3 other ladies in the same place so we decided to join up.   It was like that for quite a while, just before before Christmas we had another lady join us ......... well!!! she brought her friend along today.  We have decided to look for somewhere else to have our coffee.  Somewhere they might have a big "round" table so the the conversation can flow better.
Anne our friend who had the Breast Operation is doing very well and looks good, fingers crossed she is now well on the road to full recovery.
Mrs Duck ......Love your definition of OLD ......  Not old,  just seen more Sunrises........brillient

"A Happy Birthday Card"

Hello folks, all calm here, I hope it is the same where your based.
Not a lot going on here at the moment, I will be going out tomorrow.  First time this year, I have to go, I am meeting Hazel and some friends.    Now, I know if I called off there would be real serious lectures from my sister!!!!  Once I am there it will be fine it is just the thought of going out.
We have had it dry if still a bit windy here today, hopefully it will be more of the same for my outing tomorrow.
Managed to get a few crafty things done for the Card Classes starting at the Tearoom next Tuesday.  I have spent the day making up the kits for "Baby Cards" a boy and a girl card.  Will show them soon, don`t want to put them up yet just in case any of the ladies have decided to have a look at my Blog.  Most of them say they don`t have or are not interested in computers but you never know!!!!   I am certainly not "into" computers but I do manage some things (not a lot)  I would certainly hate to be without one.  I am no use at anything technical that`s for sure, however I am happy with what I manage to do.
My card today was inspired by a very small piece of Tilda paper I found while having a wee tidy up!!!!
Do I use it or put it in the bag for the school.......................I used it!!!

"It`s MORE Boxes"

Hello and welcome to this little corner of Blogland.
Thank you so much for taking time to come visit me.   I love that you do that and leave all your lovely comments.  If you leave a comment and have an active Blog I love to link back to see what you get up too.  There is such a wealth of talent out there and so much inspiration.  Don`t know about the rest of you but it sure helps on the "empty head days" to have some ideas floating about.
My post for today comes from one of those days.  I was looking at Christine Harrop`s Blog http://christinescardsandcrafts.blogspot.co.uk/  she had made a beautiful box.  She got the Tutorial on Becca Feekan`s Blog  www.amazingingpapergrace definitely worth a look Becca does some "amazing" things.   As most of my regular followers know I love making boxes, I just had to have a go at this one.    Once you have done one it does get easier.  I love Becca`s box but if I am totally honest I prefer making the Origami Box from the Tutorial over on http://flowersribbonsandpearls.blogspot.co.uk/  I think it`s the fact that the Origami Box needs NO measuring.......how lazy is that??  The other thing is I have now made so many I don`t need to to watch the Tutorial.  There is also such a great opportunity for going OTT with decorating the top of the Origami Box.   I have written down all the measurements for Becca`s box, I certainly will make more that`s for sure.
Here are the Boxes I made

I made to blue spotty one first.  Decided when it was all fresh in my mind to make another two

Card from my Stash
Woodware Border Punch System to make the bands
SB Fancy Square Dies
Flowers from WOC

That`s it for today
Thank you very much for calling by I really appreciate every visit
Till next time

"White on White"

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all safe, dry and well.
The weather has had a devastating effect on so many people, my heart goes out to them.  I know the toll it has taken on my friend, I certainly would not wish that on anyone.
Got up this morning with great intentions of going to HobbyCraft in Dundee to see if I could spend the Christmas Voucher I got from the boys.  As time went on, I changed my mind.  I am really not good at this time of year.  I could quite happily go into total "hibernation" till the weather gets better.
Just stuck to doing some crafting, Mr Mojo is slowly showing himself if only for brief spells.   Like me I don`t think he likes this time of year, mind you who really does??
Had John, Audrey and the boys for a meal yesterday.  Everyone seemed to enjoy it going by the empty plates and dishes. Dad, Grandpa and the boys had great fun playing "Hide & Seek" in the house.........while mum and I did the dishes and caught up on some chat.
Robert had them really stumped.  They were looking for him for ages, panic started to set in I could see and feel it.  In the end they had to demand that he showed himself.  He had been sitting on a wooden box that John has in the bottom of the cupboard in the office. They had all looked in there but only at one side of the cupboard.   He is a very loveable "cheeky" wee boy.  Oh! Boy! was he delighted that they could not find him!!!!!........... Fun and games!!!

My card today is "white on white" with my favourite Roses........not chocolate ones
I have eaten most of them!!!
