"Rose Stamps"

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.  Have you got the cupboards stocked up???  John and I went out yesterday, bought so much blooming food the freezers are FULL.  Cupboards the same, if we are trapped because of the weather they are predicting we will still have food left after a month!!!!

A few of you have mentioned these Rose Stamps   ... Right!!!  They are StampinUp Stippled Blossom Stamp Set.  Tina from http://drakesfieldcards.blogspot.co.uk/  managed to get me a contact address.  StampinUp sell their products through their Demonstrators or Parties.  We do not seem to have anyone in this neck of the woods.  Michelle Last who lives in Buckinghamshire ordered and sent mine direct to my address.  They charge £4.95 P&P for any size of parcel.   Michelle has a Blog http://www.michellelast.typepad.co.uk/   I am sure if you go on and order through her she will be more than willing to get them for you.  All the contact Nos. are there on her Blog
Here is how the Stamps work:-

The Stamps
The inks I used
Step One using the Solid Stamp & Squeezed Lemonade
Step two using the Stippled Stamp & Coffee
Now for the Leaves plus a little foliage using Crushed Olive
Oooopps!!! I have managed to delete the picture of the Leaf Stamps............!!!

I hope you get the Gist!! of what it is all about ...  simple or what??

My Card Class went well today everyone behaved.  No complaints when I told them they would be "Stamping" they don`t like stamping.  They were well challenged as it was a HUGE Butterfly Stamp.  I got a couple of pictures of one of the ladies cards which I will show you tomorrow.

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till tomorrow
Hugs

it's nice to see how you made it.
Our snows just got and then it was on TV that we are going to get some more.
And then we will get some of the snow from America they should keep it we don't we don't want it.
Lets see who gets it first you in Scotland or me in Yorkshire.
I'm off food shopping tonight and George will be putting very thing he sees in the trolley just in case it snows.

  7. Hi Patricia, Thank you for the info, when I googled them after first seeing your beautiful stamping, there was a set on ebay, but I didn't manage to bid high enough, and I saw various Stampin' Up demonstrators on the Search. I will definitely be trying to get these stamps, and these ink colours match perfectly, they are stunning. I have also watched quite a few Youtube demo's by Stampin' Up peeps and I'm in love with their ink pads, I love how the lid slides right underneath, they are fabulous.
I hope you don't get too much snow, at least you will be well fed if you do !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Now all I have to do is be patient until they come, the trouble is I want them now!
Many thanks once again, hoping you don't get too much of the bad weather that is forecast. Like you I always like a good stock of food essentials in for the winter months.

  14. Hi Patricia
These are an absolute temptation. Thanks for providing your source as they do seem as rare as rocking horse poo.
Thankfully, doesn't appear to be a need to stock up here. Just as well, Mr D would just see that as an excuse to chow down lol!
Hope you don't get it too bad.
    Best wishes.

  23. SU just do these style of stamps perfectly to great effect. Although an eye for colour, which you have, is always a great advantage.
    Hope your ladies had fun.
No full cupboards here so hoping the snow just blows over!

  29. Gorgeous stamp and looks so professional - I have a few SU stamp sets as I jouned up to take advantage of an offer that had on SU via a demonstrator that used to go to the same craft class as me - it meant I could join and pay a fee but get quite a lot more money wise in goodies - I think they do the offer annually - no pressure to continue with them either - love the storage boxes they come in too - I am just playing catch-up amd getting so many ideas from the posts and will have to get my stamps out to look for some ideas - hope the snow isn't too bad where you are - had it quite bad last week and a sprinkling tonight but supposed to be getting more overnight!! Keep safe and warm and well fed xx GailT xx
