"Card Class Makes"

Hello Blog friends, followers and poppers by.  Great to have to here, if you like what you see please  pop back again soon.  I hope you are all enjoying the absolutely glorious weather that we are having.  Very Frosty first thing, the sun is up, the sky is blue and there was actually a heat in the sun round lunch time.  Not a lot but it was there.
I have another new follower ...  Becky Spinks thank you so much for choosing to follow my ramblings, glad to have you join me.
It was Card Class today, all good fun and no rebels!!!!  Last time they asked for "simple cards! but could I give them ideas on a theme!!
It is almost Valentines Day so I went for that.  Then I thought, I know what would happen "I don`t do Valentines, I have no one to give a Valentine Card to" you know, the same old, same old!!!
What I did was made up the Kits with options here is the selection I put in front of them:-

They wanted simple well that`s what they got
Base cards approx 4 x 6 they each got 3 cards to do
White card embossed using Sue Wilson`s Heart Folder
SB classic hearts Die
Marianne Daisy Die
Some ribbon and pearls
Phil Martin Stamp for the Just for you
I just wrote the Love You, I did not have a stamp for that

As you all know I love to make flowers and I would dearly love to get them making flowers but NO!!
They say they don`t have the tools at home to do them so it a bit pointless......there you go that`s what I have to put up with.   No get up and go these ladies, never mind it is a pleasure to the classes now compared with when we first started.

That`s it for today
Thank you for coming to visit I really appreciate that you take time to do that
Till next time
Hugs

I will be missing tomorrow, meeting Hazel for the day.
After all the chatter and laughter I will be exhausted.......!!!

  5. I admire your patience with this group.
These cards are really lovely. My friends in USA must be well trained by Hallmark, they seem to but and give valentines cards for many friends and family, not just their sweetheart.

  12. Hi Patricia,
    fab little array of cards.
    Great designs too.
Now if I lived near you, I would jump at the chance to make flowers with you at your class.
How can anyone not enjoy making your beautiful flowers, even if they don't have the tools at home, and come on the tools are not that expensive, one decent ball tool and the back of a mouse mat will make flowers.
I just love to try anything that is new, it's a challenge and I love a challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

No sunshine here today I'm afraid but according to my husband who did a spot of gardening it was a lot warmer!
I spent the day prepping for a class - I'm now fed up cutting card into size 3in x 71/2ins! I think your cards are lovely! Very smart.
Have a lovely day with Hazel tomorrow.

  17. Hi Patricia
I can't see the ladies can have any cause for complaint. Simple but still superb.
What special tools? Its only a couple of months ago I got a ball tool. I used to use the end of a pen, hahaha!
What's that expression about horses and water lol!

Fab kits you have out together and gives them the freedom to pick which co,go to make - they really do sound so ungrateful but like yiu say if there is an improvement from the early days of the rebels who knows maybe one dsy the flowers will happen - they really don't know how lucky they are xx have a lovely day tomorrow xx GailT xx

  22. Morning Patricia,
Lovely little cards, sounds like any excuse not to do things out of their comfort zone, as Ang said a pen would do the trick.
    Have a good day.

  24. Morning Patricia, These cards are gorgeous, I hope your class enjoyed making them. I can't understand why they don't want to learn how to make flowers, as they could then make them with you and put them onto the cards they make at home themselves. I bet you get so frustrated at times !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  27. Hi Patricia. Clean, simple and easy... Just love the easy cards when in a hurry, and these would do a treat. What are those women made of for goodness sake ? I know you need a couple of tools but whats wrong with improvising ? I dont have any so called flower making tools but the end of my poky tool helps curl leaves and petal's as does the tip of a paint brush... Id take some petals in one week and show em how it can be done without 'proper' tools !! Well bobbed into my local Lidl all excited about the card and paper guess what ? Zilch, nowt, nufink boohoo lol. Heyho, oh well. Will try again next time I go buy mind you, it was SO bitter cold in there I may not be able to go in until the summer unless its always blowing freezing cold air from their aircon !!
    Hugs to you Patricia.

  28. Another lot of lovely cards. I cannot understand the ladies at the craft group not wanting to make flowers. I would jump at the chance. Three more weeks with the plaster on then hopefully I can craft again ans try out the new dies I have. Non of Sue's new ones yet but have got the Camilia which she seems to use quite often so glad I have got those.

  29. Patricia, the idea is that they go out and buy the bits to make the flowers too.
Great selection of LIS cards with a Valentine theme.
Have a super day out with Hazel tomorrow.
