"Card Class Project"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by.  Welcome to my Blog, I hope you like what you see and will pop back again soon.  Thank you for all your wonderful comments and encouragement. that`s what makes it all worth while.
I was to be getting on with my Crochet BUT  just can`t get into the "swing" of it just yet.  I have stated but as I am not really great at Crochet, I have made a few little mistakes.  I have popped it out of sight for a couple of days in hope that when I get back to it ..... my mind will be on the job!!!!
Off along to the Tearoom to do my Card Class, we will be making boxes today.  I have done as much of the project as I can without actually making the blooming box for them.  Some of my longer serving followers will remember I do have problems with a few of the ladies not wanting to come out of their "comfort zone" of just making cards.......!!!
Anyway here are some of my samples to show how the basic "recipe" can be altered to make whatever size you want:-

Two totally different shapes one "recipe" just alter the ingredient amounts

The design of the box

An even bigger Box this time

I have cut out all the bits for this box which is not too big for them to manage
Just big enough for this:-
OOOpps!! just noticed I have forgotten the paper on the inside of the lid.  Better go get that sorted before I go.

That`s it for now
Thank you for calling in and leaving all your comments I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Patricia xxx

Yeh!!! they all enjoyed making the box.  Even asked if they can make a bigger one next time .....  success!!!

  5. Good morning Patricia
Your boxes are absolutely fabulous, every little detail so very lovely. I do so love my box that you so very kindly sent me, it is something I will always treasure, it is out on show as it is too early to be put into my memory box to keep for always.
Your ladies at the tea room just don't realise just how lucky they are to have you, I do hope they are good for you today!
Have a good day perhaps I shall see you at the Cotswold Crafters Café later and hear how your class has gone.
    Take care

  36. Each one is more gorgeous than the previous one. Love the pretty papers you've used and that wonderful rose is just stunning. (Sad to say, I'd be one of those ole ladies who just wants to make cards. But I love to see the boxes too, and what goodies they will store for a beautiful gift! ) Love the way you've got so many different sizes. TFS & Hugs
