"Nineteen years ago today"

Hello Blog friends, followers, and anyone who just happens by.  Welcome to my little corner of the wonderful world of Blogging.
Thank you very much for all your kind comments on my last card.  I really did not like it much myself, however John kept saying how nice it was, he`s used to seeing cards propped up but he was enthusing about it.   John Jnr came in, spotted it right away and said "that`s nice mum" then the boys commented that they liked it as well.  Just goes to show that we are so critical of out own work.
Well nineteen years ago today we moved out here to the country ....... in a Snow Storm!!!!  We had laid "CREAM" carpet throughout Ahhhh!!!!  I tried to cover as many of the floors with sheets, then I worried the men might trip, however we managed.
A scene very similar to this:-

No snow today, we have a beautiful sunny day, cold but Hey! Ho! the washing is out blowing gently in the wind.  Yesterday was the same, all the bedding was done, dried and ironed, it was great.
Thomas off Skiing today.  After the Bus Company cancelled the bus last week because of "SNOW conditions" the Headteacher who has a licence to drive a Mini Bus decided to hire one and take the children herself.
My card for today is a very simple one although it did take a bit of time to do the "flower":-

Base card 6 x 6
Lilac card from Lidl
NitWit Paper from a LOTV pad
Impression Expression Die Set which includes a Die to cut all the "tiny flowers"
Seam Binding
Greeting made from little stamps from  http://www.stampingallday.co.uk/
I did not intend having pearls BUT I managed to get a blob of ink just under that leaf on the left.  There is also a bit on that leaf as well.

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Lovely photo of your garden, I'd love to live in the country, but I know it has it's drawbacks too, I guess that's the price to pay for beauty, have a good day, keep cosy, hugs Kate x

  19. Hi Patricia, This card is gorgeous, especially the die-cut flower with all the 'tinies', I have a similar 'lilac' stamp and I stamped and cut out all the tiny lilac petal flowers, it took me absolutely ages.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  27. This is absolutly beautiful Patricia. I was shocked to read your lilac card was from lidl, do they sell card etc ? What a absolutly stupid question lol but I asked that in a shocked way not a numpty way lol
Im so pleased you used/use my suggestion for the stamp site, I ordered 4 stamps from them Sunday, 2 for Mother's day and 1 each saying 'to mommy /daddy from the bump' thought it would be something different to add to my craft market baskets.
I know what you mean about the cream carpet... Both our bedrooms have cream carpet, one now is my craft den, say no more, and no matter how much you think cream wont get dirty in a bedroom, how wrong can you be ?
    Have a good day everyone.
