"Happy Mothers Day"

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who pressed the wrong button and landed here.  Welcome to my Blog which can be a rather crazy place at times.
I hope you are all well if not, here are some (((((hugs))))) please help yourself if they might help.
These past few days have been manic here at The Ranch.  The Time Thief was in the house.  I just did not seem to be able to catch up with myself.  I even had myself worrying about my friend being late arriving yesterday ...  I was reading the clock wrong  ..  gosh at my age you would think I could tell the blooming time!!!! However a good nights sleep seems to have sorted that out ... mind you its early yet!!!!
Its Mother Day tomorrow, here is a card for all you Mothers out there.
My mother died very young, I have not had the opportunity of sending her a card for lots of years.
Have a wonderful day, enjoy every moment I know I will, we are going to J&As for tea.

Card 8 x 8 scalloped edged card
Pink card from Lidl (they only have it now and again) if you see it, buy it, brilliant card to work with and very cheap
All the other papers are Tilda.  The Roses were made from scraps.
Crealies and SB Dies for the foliage
Meiflower Organza Ribbon
Greeting done on the computer

That`s it for today folks
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Have a wonderful weekend
Hugs

Patricia xxx

  2. What a lovely thought big sis!!! Yes it would be lovely to have made cards for mum, and when she was alive we didn't do " Mother's Day" did we? But we can think about her with happy thoughts. The time thief has been here too, so don't worry. Remember things will still be the same tomorrow so chill. Hazel xxx

  10. Patricia, what a profusion of pink loveliness. I adore everything about it. That time thief must have a passport because he has been over here as well. Like you and Hazel, me and Val lost our mum young, so no card to send, just lovely memories.

  14. Afternoon Patricia, A stunning Mothering Sunday card, I adore the Tilda papers, and your gorgeous flowers, as always, are stunning.
It is 21 years since I lost my Mum, it seems like yesterday, and I miss her every day. We went to the Crematorium with flowers for my Mum and the graveyard for Graham's Mum this morning, and the flowers looked gorgeous.
Enjoy your day tomorrow, it's freezing cold here today.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  17. Hi Patricia,
another really beautiful card with your lovely roses on.
Love the fab pink because it's my fave colour.
I was very luck to have my mother till she was 83, but sadly she died not long after I started card making so never saw my improvements, and what I can create now, and I think she would have been so proud, as I'm very sure your Mum would have been of you and your sister's wonderful work.
She also would have been so proud of you both bringing up your younger sisters too.
Happy Mother's Day to you for tomorrow.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  27. Good morning Patricia - and Happy Mothers Day...

What a beautiful card, I'm not really a "pinks" girl but love this...and it looks so clean and fresh, nice touch with the diagonal placing of the ribbon...a total knockout!...

Just read your profile, I've got a crafty sister too - aren't we blessed to have a nearest and dearest who shares our passion...makes it even more fun...and I've also been checking out your latest postings and feeling a bit of a fraud as I see you're the real Bag Lady, not me!....lol...fell in love with the squared SB design featured on 6th March...the ones Sue posted on her blog are my first ever attempts at making a bag of any description and totally inspired by her Geminis so I'm not an expert like you...

..and thanks for the roses tutorial - I still struggle making them look realistic but looking at your pics I can see where I've been going wrong so hopefully my next attempt will be more successful...

  29. Happy Mother's Day to you Patricia. Your card is a beauty. I have had another go at roses following your tutorial, slightly better but nowhere as gorgeous as yours. Have out it on a DT card for April so won't be showing it for a while and hopefully may find time to do some more although the one took an age to make! Enjoy your tea, hugs Susan x
