Gosh it`s Bags Again!!!!!

Hello Blog friends, followers .... I have even more!! Thank you all who have pressed that Follow Button and joined me in my little corner of Blogland.  It is a wonderful place, I have learned so much from seeing what others do.  I have met so many people from so many places.  Some I have actually met "face to face" some I feel I have known forever and not actually met.  Thank you all for continuing to support my Craft efforts, ramblings and most of all this Blog.  Without your support, visits and comments there would be no point in doing it.
Sue ... "Bearhouse" you are the winner of my Blog Candy.  Please send your Postal address to pjdtrimbush@aol.com  as soon as receive it I will get your goodies in the post.  They are  all packed ready for the address of the winner and that`s you Sue.
A few of you have asked for the instructions for the Bags I showed yesterday.  You will have to give me time to work that out.  I do have them somewhere I just cant seem to find them.
Found it!!! thanks to Christine:-  http://christinescardsandcrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
You will find a Bag Tutorial for the bags I showed yesterday on Blog Post for the 4th November 2012.
Sorry folks you will have to go to my Right Hand side bar and click on 2012 posts.  I have read all the instructions as to how to get it up so you would just click right onto it BUT as usual I made a right Pigs Ear of things and failed miserably.......!!! Nothing new there then!!!

Here is another Gift Bag  ...  this one is easy it is made using an Xcut Die:-

Bag cut from Centura Pearl Card.  I have found this is the very best card to use to cut these Bags
Flowers are Vellum, cut using a Woodewear Large Punch, coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens
SW & SB Foliage Dies for the leaves
Organza Ribbon from Mieflower

I was so disappointed in the Mieflower stand at the Show on Saturday.  They used to have miles & miles of beautiful Organza Ribbon, Satin Ribbon and lots of Charms.  I have more ribbon in stock here than they had ..... I am being serious, ask Hazel.  Mind you she probably has more than me!!!!!

That`s it for today, I am off to get the cleaning done then I will look for those instructions.....I promise
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Patricia  xxxx

  9. Oh I am not sure who has the most ribbon??? But between us we have a lot!!! Every year we say we aren't needing any more and where do we go when we go out and about, yes ribbon and button shops? As you know I love making up these bags you can do so much with them to make everyone different. Only you can make flowers that look so real!!! Hazel xxx

  12. It's me again Patricia, I found the post and printed off the instructions. Bet you can't guess what I'll be doing this evening after the granddaughters go home?
Having a look back through your posts, you have made some fabulous things, not just cards, and I see you supported Maggies. My daughter Rachel was PA to the Head Breast Cancer Specialist Prof. Tom Lennard, in Newcastle's University Medical School. She lives in a large cul-de-sac and used to do a Bar 'b' q every year to raise funds. I did a craft stall, and all the big department stores in the City were very supportive in donating goods. The food, ice cream, cakes etc were also supplied by various Food outlets.
Local bands or Northumbrian Pipers would come free of charge, but then about 3 or 4 years ago she found it very difficult to get things and we had to stop it.

  16. Hi Patricia another beautiful bag and loving your vellum flowers, the colour really pops out against the white, stunning.
Sorry you were disappointed with the show, I think hard times seem to eventually be hitting the crafting world, I'm just glad I couldn't get time off work.

Have a lovely Monday and hopefully you'll get some crafting time?

    Hugs Erika. x

  17. Hi Patricia.
Ur wee bags are stunning. I'm not that brave yet to go there. But I work full time so it's hard sometimes to get some greetings to craft x

  18. I Patricia,
I made some of your original bags last Christmas and put some sweets (mainly tablet) in them. My flowers are never a bit like yours, but as long as there is nothing to compare them to, everyone thought they looked good. Fancy bags are a great way to enhance a small gift.
    Cheers

  24. Hi Patricia
Another vision of loveliness and you show as many of em as you like.
That's disappointing about MeiFlower. I usually get a few rolls of ribbon from them.
    Congratulations to Sue.

  30. Hi Patricia,
I , too, will look at the post about the bags you showed the other day as I thought they were a lovely shape. I have the die for today's bags and love to make them - thanks for the tip on Centura Pearl as I don't have that and some card doesn't score terribly well and CE Cardstock is a little expensive . Your flowers are beautiful. Thanks for your lovely blog and sharing your talent.
    Love Myra xx

  34. Another beautiful bag - love this die which I bought after seeing Hazel using it and at the risk of sounding like a cracked record!! (showing my age now) I love your flowers and they have coloured beautifully xx like you I have lots of ribbon and not sure why as I very rarely use it!! Just love it though xx GailT xx

  35. Gosh, at first I thought your beautiful vellum flowers were made from the organza ribbon. They are so delicate & light, and your SN created such rich coloring on the vellum. You astound me with the way you can shape this material so that it looks so like a 'real flower'. This rich color is so pretty against the pearly white too. TFS & hope you sisters had great fun at the show, even if you do have more ribbon than the booth did! Hugs
