"Thank You Card"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by who are looking in.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland, great to have you here.
Sorry I have been missing for a few days ....... off enjoying myself with my sister.
We flew over to Belfast on Friday and had a great weekend.   So much so that we ran out of time for the Titanic Experience, the Tour takes 21/2 + hours.  We had planned to do it Sunday afternoon .... that was before we got an invitation to Sunday Lunch.  By the time that was over the place was closed and that was that.   Decided we will for fly over for an other weekend when we can fit it in.
My card today is for my friend Oriel and her hubby John who we spent the whole day with on Saturday plus Sunday Lunch with them and some of her family.

Base card 6x6 PMD Hammered card
Stamping up card ... pink
Linen card
Justrite Romantic Roses Stamp Set.  This is a "2 stamp system" similar to the StampingUp set I fell in love with a couple of months ago.  You stamp the base stamp then stamp a contrasting one on top to give a great effect.  This was the first time I used the set so it shows how easy it is to use.
Stamped Thank You

Off out for a walk .... to walk of some of the mountain of food I ate over the weekend.   When I get back I will get the Ironing done.  Big washing out and almost dry anther job will be done and dusted.
That`s it for today folks
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

Believe it or not I got those lovely stamps at Christmas, but as you know I have not been crafting very much. Made a big effort last week though. I'm doing the ironing to this afternoon. 20. Hi Patricia
Very pretty and very spooky! I say spooky, as I picked up this set of stamps at the NEC on Thursday but didn't buy them as the packaging was damaged and I wasn't sure whether the stamps were too (have been caught out with that happening before).
Glad you both had a great time with Oriel and her family.
    Best wishes.

  27. Morning Patricia,
Sound like you had a lovely weekend. A good few years ago when I was involved with a swimming club we took a group of swimmers over to Northern Island for some competitions, we had a great time and we were made so welcome. We were able to fit in lots of sightseeing, so many wonderful places to visit, especially the Giants Causeway, and the spectacular Belfast Town Hall. Would love yo go back.
Beautiful card, love the stamps, don't think I have seen these before, will have to check them out.

  34. Morning love.
At LONG last Ive caught up !! And im so pleased I have. I must say if Robert can make an 'Izzy' bag (all be it with Grandma's help) then I must try and find time to sit and have a go, im useless at following instructions though (even Saba's detailed instructions would confuse me) Im so thick at times lol but id love to be able to find the time to try.
Im so glad Ive now caught up with all your beautiful works of art, and hope all your beautiful gifts that you show at the local coffee shop are selling well.
Whatever your plans for the day I hope you enjoy and have a good one.
    Hugs.

P.S. If anyone is interested stampingallday have some new stamps that im sure will be usefull. I needed 'To A Wonderful Mum' stamp for an order I had, then I thought I could do with - To my wonderful/To our wonderful/To a wonderful.... So mentioned them to Nicky who owns this great stamp website, the following day she had introduced them on her site, so if you need these or other sentiments im sure you will find them there (I hope you dont mind me mentioning this Patricia) as I know you have used this website. Its not an advert for the website more like passing on info to any of your followers that need stamps you cant find anywhere xx
