"Oldie for Friday"

Hello all, hope you are fine and enjoying the wonderful weather.  Forecasters are saying after today we will revert to rain and colder conditions.  That`s a right "bummer" is it not.  Hope that`s not our spring and better weather will reappear again soon.
Lots been done here at the Ranch this week.  They have been cutting trees in the lane that runs down the side of the garden.  The trees were getting so out of control, lots and lots of wood cut.  We have been stacking it in preparation for future fires.  My word we have stacked enough to last us years to come and there is still so much left.  A few people in the village have open fires a few have Log Burners, there is plenty for them as well.
Friday again, how did that happen???  Our boys will be home on Saturday after their week in Barcelona.  They were at a football match Wednesday evening, have just has snippets about that.  I am sure we will get the full run down when they get back.
Oldie for Friday was started by Erika over at:-http://snappycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
It is a chance for you to show off Crafty things you have done in the past.  Certainly does NOT have to be cards.  Anything Crafty you have done is what is wanted.  So come on, we have all been there, rummage in those files I am sure you have something you can show.
Here is mine:-

8x8 card base
Card for matting & layering
Paper from ...  I don`t know where (see it is old)
Digi Image coloured using Promarkers (has to be them they were the first markers I bought)
SB Labels 10, some curly bits and ribbon  Oh! I have just spotted some buttons as well

That`s it for today
Thank you for popping by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

  5. Morning Patricia, You have been a busy bee with all the log stacking, I know how hard that is haha. I could do with some of those too for my log burner. We will be ordering some part seasoned logs in the near future for stacking and seasoning ourselves. I hope the weather doesn't turn colder again, I have put my log burner to bed (so to speak), but it is 'set' ready just in case !!
I'm loving your oldie for Friday, and how effective are those button flowers, looks like glossy accents on them too, really lovely.
    Enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  6. Another lovely card, Patricia. I realise now that I didn't photograph much when I made them. Just sent them out or gave them away. I still forget. Told you before, senior and blonde!

  8. Great minds think alike Patricia, out in the sunshine sorting out the garden. Making full use of the good weather!
This card is so different from your current style, is is so lovely to see how styles have changed. That being said I love your image, a button tree, something all crafters would want in their garden, can you imagine that?! Cool.
Thanks for joining me in sharing an oldie this Friday, have a super weekend, hopefully the sun will stay and the weather will not change. Fingers crossed.

    Hugs Erika. x

  23. Hi Patricia. Yep, for once the forcasters have it right here in Lancashire !! Thought my hibernation was over and spring had sprung, how wrong can I be ? From glorious sunshine to dull grey cold rain over night !! Fancy trashing the 'cafe' while the 'boss' is away lol that'll teach em to put salt in our wounds going on about AP when we cant get there! I said once I hit 50 I'd start to rebel, 4 years on and STILL not started lol come on, you, me and Hazel, lets go lol.

What a cute card. How mediums have changed ay ? Pro markers were the bee's knee's a couple of year's ago and now the Camelia pens are all the rage, you have shaded this lovely sweet image beautifully, I love 8 x 8 cards, sooo easy to 'dress up' so to speak.
I hope you are having better weather up there than we have here at the moment. Have a wonderful day hearing allll about the boy's week away.
    Hugs.
