Matching Box!!

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all well.  For those of you who have a Holiday today I hope you have a wonderful time.  The weather over the weekend was terrible.  We were down in Yorkshire for a 70th Birthday Party.  We were staying with the friend who`s birthday it was, a 51/2  hour journey from door to door.  We left early Friday morning with intentions of staying till tomorrow.  The weather was so awful we decided we would come home early and go back down in the summer for longer. Hopefully the weather will be better then.  Oh! My! Word! what a drive home, John did all the driving it was so bad. I am quite capable of driving in the rain but John drove hundreds of thousands of miles in all conditions with his job. He does not bother what the weather throws at him.

I have the little box I made to got with the card I made for my friend.  I had a gift for her and felt if I made a Box it would also help to cheer her up.  She said she was delighted with them, I just hope they helped make her feel a bit better.
Here it is:-

This is the Duo:-

Box is 3 x 4 made with PMD Card
Bebunni Paper from a FreeBe Crafters Companion CD
Pink matt and the Roses made from 160gsm Paper/Card
Leaves SW Rose Die Set
The card for my leaves is coloured using a brilliant idea  "John Next Door" gave on a show he did for Sue Wilson on C&C.  You cover white card with every colour of Green you have and blend them all together.  Adding other colours as you see fit for the purpose.  I love the effect you get.

Right that`s me off to get the first load of washing hung out.  How can two people manage to create so much washing over 3 days???

Thank you for calling by today, I really appreciate you take time to do that
Till next time
Hugs

  3. These flowers look gorgeous Patricia. I watched a youtube clip recently where flower petals are sprayed and scrunched over a pencil. Is this what you have done? If so, I really must try it.
    Thanks

  31. The card & box were as always, so lovely with your wonderful flowers. I'm sure your friend felt so cared for when she received these pretties. How super that you got to visit Yorkshire (I loved All Creatures Great & Small, still watch it, and drool over the countryside). Sorry it was a rainy weather trip - but hopefully you'll have nicer weather in summer. Laughed over your laundry comment. I am positive that we have gremlins who come during the night and dirty up things. 2 people could not possibly dirty up so much laundry!!! I keep watching for them, but they evade me. I know they're doing it though!!! TFS & Hugs
