Where our boys Play

Hello Blog friends and followers, thank you for popping in.  A very quick post today, still enjoying time with friends.  Tonight is the BIG Party, so Glad Rags laid out and ready.  Could take some time getting the "face" ready!!!
I have mentioned a few times that our Grandsons are very lucky to have a wonderful playground at "The Ranch"
Thought I would show you a couple of pictures:-

The "burn" or stream
The "lane" at the Ranch
More water,  they do wade with their wellies on right down the length of the lane.  The burn then goes through a pipe along the side of a field coming out at a little pond.
Think you can understand why they have so much fun.
They also learnt to ride their bikes in the lane.  Taught by the ever patient Grandpa

Thank you for your visit I really appreciate that you take time to call and leave all your wonderful comments.
Till next time
Hugs

  1. Looks like a perfect playground. My German Shepherd would love the burn too, he likes to sit in water,(unless it is in the bath)
    Lovely day too.
Enjoy your party tonight. (Careful with the Baileys though)
    Cheers

  6. Just right for boys!! Ours were blessed with being brought up in a safe environment where they could explore 200 acres unhindered and let their imaginations run wild. Sadly very few have that experience these days and are glued to a virtual world in front of a screen be it TV or tablet or phone. Hope you have a lovely time xx

  7. Hello flower, was back tracking and seen your pretty flower bouquet that the wee lads gave at the wedding. ORIGAMI KUSUDAMA flower video on youtube has your flower and how to make it again. Sorry sticking big nose in but just if you would like to remake your beautiful bouquet. I love your "shoes and handbags" Patricia, they are pretty and a wonderful way to match for a wedding when you can't find the ideal alternative. I was just discussing with my friend about strengthening my Izzy bag to make it match my outfit, now i wonder if it would work with the shoes as well???
    Love and crafty hugs

  8. Hi Patricia,
The 'Burn' looks like a fabulous place for the children to play in,
I think I saw a few ice cubes floating by in that water though, although a good place to cool your wine!
The lane, well what better place to learn to ride their bikes etc, you are truly blessed having such fantastic surroundings for them to adventure in, while all the time they are in sight and safe no wonder they always want to be at your house!
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful haven of peace and tranquillity, that is until the boys arrive!
    Love and hugs

  19. Hi Patricia,
    Second attempt to blog.
The playground looks fabulous, I bet the grandsons (and Grandad) love playing there!!
I feel as though I'm in a time warp because I'm still trying to find out about the party. Why was it held?? Anyway, I hope you had a ball.

  20. Waht a wonderful place for children to play and much better than sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end. This is the sort of play I had as a child and such a healthy environment has to be good. We live near the beach now and that too is a wonderful place to explore and see the delight in a childs face at each and everything they discover.

  25. Caught a glimpse of the title on this post as I saw your later one, and had to come back to enjoy these beautiful scenes. How fortunate your boys are to have such a scenic playground. Must be quite an adventurous time for them to be in such an area. TFS
