"Oldie for Friday"

Hello everyone, hope all is well and you are looking forward to the weekend.
Thank you for popping into visit today.  You are all very welcome, I do hope you like what you see and pop back to see me again sometime soon.
Today is Oldie for Friday started by Erika over at http://snappycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
It is just a bit of fun to share some of the work we have done in the past.  Anything you have created and wish to share is what we are looking for.  I certainly does not have to be a card.
Here is mine:-

A wicker heart picked up for £1 in Primark this time last year.  I actually bought loads, we did this as project at the Card Class
Flowers in Spring Colours using Lidl Card
SB Rose Creation Die.  Marianne Daisy Die. SB Foliage are a few of the Dies I can see I have used
Some Organza Ribbon I get from Mieflower

I mentioned Lidl card on a previous post, a few of you have said you have looked in the store.  They only have the card occasionally, I do think coming up to Easter they might just have it in again soon.  If you see it don`t hesitate it is great card to work with and so reasonably priced

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

Hugs

Pink Peonies this time!!

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the wonderful weather we are getting in the North East of Scotland round the Perthshire area.  Still extremely cold but Hey! Ho! the sun is shining, the skies are blue.  I don`t really do going out in the cold but it is good to look out and think that Spring is on its way.
I did venture out to meet up with my sister Hazel http://hazelsbasketsofjoy.blogspot.co.uk/
yesterday.  We had chatted on the phone the night before for almost 2 hours.  Both our hubbies said "well there will be no need to meet up tomorrow then" ....  how silly can these men be???? Hazel and I often go away together, we also have a whole week away every year.  We can go to bed chatting and still find something to chat about when we get up the next morning.
Well with all the chatting on the phone then the meet up I did not have much time left for crafting,
I had been "playing with paper" making some more flowers when I found some time.
Here it what I used some of them for:-

Crafters Companion A3 Card for the box
Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur Dies and Stamps for the flowers
HC Die for the leaves.
Couple of Stick Pins
A tag stamped with a tiny stamp from  http://www.stampingallday.co.uk/
I colour a sheet of A4 card with all the shades of green Distress Ink I have plus some orange, yellow and brown, blend them together as much as I can.  Leave to dry, I then have great card for cutting out foliage.  http://johnnextdoor.blogspot.co.uk/ gave this technique on a show at C&C.

A few of you said the flowers looked like Peonies.  Yes! when I looked at them you are right.
Janice Wallace who`s mum was a florist said they were "Ranuculus" is that maybe the technical name for Peonies?
Littlelamb sending you a few (((((hugs))))) in hope they help ease the pain of that shoulder
I send (((((hugs))))) to anyone out there who might need them, please help yourself.

That`s me for today
Thank you so much for your visit, I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Card Class Makes"

Hello Blog friends, followers and poppers by.  Great to have to here, if you like what you see please  pop back again soon.  I hope you are all enjoying the absolutely glorious weather that we are having.  Very Frosty first thing, the sun is up, the sky is blue and there was actually a heat in the sun round lunch time.  Not a lot but it was there.
I have another new follower ...  Becky Spinks thank you so much for choosing to follow my ramblings, glad to have you join me.
It was Card Class today, all good fun and no rebels!!!!  Last time they asked for "simple cards! but could I give them ideas on a theme!!
It is almost Valentines Day so I went for that.  Then I thought, I know what would happen "I don`t do Valentines, I have no one to give a Valentine Card to" you know, the same old, same old!!!
What I did was made up the Kits with options here is the selection I put in front of them:-

They wanted simple well that`s what they got
Base cards approx 4 x 6 they each got 3 cards to do
White card embossed using Sue Wilson`s Heart Folder
SB classic hearts Die
Marianne Daisy Die
Some ribbon and pearls
Phil Martin Stamp for the Just for you
I just wrote the Love You, I did not have a stamp for that

As you all know I love to make flowers and I would dearly love to get them making flowers but NO!!
They say they don`t have the tools at home to do them so it a bit pointless......there you go that`s what I have to put up with.   No get up and go these ladies, never mind it is a pleasure to the classes now compared with when we first started.

That`s it for today
Thank you for coming to visit I really appreciate that you take time to do that
Till next time
Hugs

I will be missing tomorrow, meeting Hazel for the day.
After all the chatter and laughter I will be exhausted.......!!!

"Oh! What a Beautiful Morning"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any one who happened to press a button and landed here.  Great to see you this beautiful morning.  I do hope you are having the same wonderful frosty but gorgeous sunny day.  The skies are clear and all is well.  If you are feeling a bit down I send you some (((((hugs))))) please help yourself.
When we got the "weather warning" a couple of weeks ago we stocked up with extra food.  It is now mostly gone.  Once the cleaning is finished it will be off to the shops.
I had a great time "Playing with paper" yesterday here is one of the things I created:-

A little box approx 3 x 5
I used A3 card from Crafters Companion.
Flowers are made using Heartfelt Creations Die & Stamp Set Sun Kissed Fleur
Don`t  ask what the flowers are supposed to be.  I have not a clue I just made them.  I might do these again in Yellow to look like big Buttercups
SB Foliage Die for the leaves.  I used John next Door`s method for colouring the card for leaves

My beautiful view at 8am

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for your visit I really appreciate it
Off to finish the cleaning, bedding already out and blowing away gently
Till next time

"A beautiful Day & Pink Fields"

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who just happens by.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland.  Thank you for all your lovely comments on my Tag Card, I appreciate it I really do.
A very quick Post from me I just wanted to show and tell about my beautiful day yesterday.
Woke up to a thick layer of frost that looked like snow.   That soon disappeared when the sun shone like a summer day.  Everything up to date to watch Sue Wilson on the telly.  I like Sue`s work and all her wonderful cards.   I do draw inspiration from her daily Blog:- http://www.particraft.blogspot.co.uk/ .  I know a lot of you out there do as well.  My  day got better when on the 12pm show my e-mail was read out and Sue commented on my work.
Evening came and we ended the day with the most amazing Sunset:-
Looked out and the fields were "pink" it was weird in a beautiful way.

Pink fields caused by this:-

Sorry my camera flash has reflected off the window

How wonderful are those colours
Oh! we do live in a wonderful country, even in the winter time beauty surrounds us.

That` it for now folks, just wanted to share
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate that you take the time to do that
Till next time
Hugs
