Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by.  Welcome, I do hope you are all well and enjoying the beautiful sunshine we are having today.  Washing out, bathrooms done, floors vacuumed, places the sun showed up the dust were dusted but they just about the same again.. My that sun shows up some real whoppers!!! especially those windows.  Oh! well that`s for another day.  I am off to do some crafting.  I am getting the kits ready for my Tuesday Craft Class.  We will be making .....boxes on Tuesday that should be fun!!!
I have been playing with those Stippled Blossom Stamps from StampinUp again.
Here is my card for today:-

Brown base card approx 5 x 7
Cream card embossed with a Sue Wilson folder
Brown & cream layers
I spritzed and splattered  a piece of card then used my all time favourite Stamp Set
Stippled Blossom Stamp Set from SampinUp
Not happy with the bow but I stuck it on using my Hot Glue Gun so it will have to stay there
SB Butterfly which I rubbed over with Gold Gilding Wax
Button and pearls from my box

That`s it for today folks
Thank you so much for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time ...... which could be a few days.    I have so many cards in stock that I have decided to slow down on the card making.   I have filled my cabinet at the Tearoom,  taken a load of cards along to the Old Folks Home, given a huge bag of bits to the school.  I am going to get on with some crocheting in the next few weeks.  I have been asked to make some shawl/scarves the same as I made for Christmas Gifts.
I will still be checking up on you all guys every day to see what you are doing

"Oragami Boxes"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all my loyal callers by.  I have quite a few callers who do not have Blogs, I really appreciate that you keep popping in.  Thank you everyone for all the encouraging comments, they make this Blogging Lark all worth while.
All rather boring at "The Ranch" these days, however we will soon have lambs running about in the field I am looking forward to that.
You are all probably "sick to the back teeth" of all my recent makes.   I promise (well I think I do) today`s will be the last.  I have a few other things but I will pass on them for the time being.
Susan:-  craftinsuzie.blogspot.co the flowers on my Bags were Velum coloured using my SN Pens
Here are a few Origami Boxes I made.  I love making them, once you "get it" they are very easy.  Christina over at:- http://www.card-making-magic.com/  has a wonderful Tutorial for making them. On the left hand side bar Christina has a selection including "Video Tutorials" click on that, it takes you to a menu of all her wonderful easy to follow tutorials.  Scroll down and you will find the one for "Origami Boxes"
Here is a selection of mine:-

All made using First Addition Papers I have had for ages
SB Dies for the Roses, foliage and the Butterflies. SW Dies for some of the leaves. SB Dies for the Scalloped Edged pieces
Organza Ribbon and pearls from my stash

Another Box using a sheet of Tilda Paper for the Box.   Odds and ends from my Bit Box for all the decoration.

I also make up Packs of 3 of little cards, no greeting and blank inside for general use.  These always sell well.  These are 4x6 made using my all time favourite set of stamps from StaminUp

I these are in packs of 3 as well, they are 4x4

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Collection of Goodies"

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by.  Welcome to my Blog where I hope you may get a little inspiration now and again.
Kate  http://cuilliesocks.blogspot.co.uk/ I hope you are feeling better as you read this.  Kate has been nursing her OH through a "bug" type thing now she has managed to get it.  For you Kate and any others not feeling too good I send you some (((((hugs))))).  Even if you feel good your still welcome to help yourself to the hugs.
Went along to the Tearoom yesterday with all my "goodies" for the cabinet.  Emptied it out, cleaned the shelves and re-stocked.   There was not much left from last time.  Elaine had put a few of her things in to fill up the spaces.  Guess what?? I was half way along the road when I realised I had not brought my camera.  Had my phone which takes good photos but my computer and camera don`t talk to one another, can`t show you everything in situation, sorry!!
Here is a collection of  cabinet "Goodies":-

These two boxes might do for little "man Gifts" no flowers on these.
I used big beads on them, the yellow one has a beautiful Crystal Bead.  It`s not showing up too good because of the light. I dissected a broken Christmas dangely decoration and kept all the bits.  The Crystal bead is from that :-

and another:-
Just a few of the collection I took along, will show you a few more next time.
On the last box I used Sue Wilson`s new Cornflower Die.  I am not sure on this one, I feel the petals are just a little too "square" along the tops for me.  I think I would get a nicer effect with the Aster Die.  I love the tiny little leaf Dies in the set, they are great for filling in spaces.  I used HC Stamens from the Arianna Blooms Die Set for the navy centres of the flowers

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Little Boxes"

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who pressed a wrong button and landed here.  Welcome to my Blog, hope you like what you see, leave a comment and call again real soon.  If you leave a comment I can get back to your Blog to see what you get up to.  If you don`t have a Blog thank you anyway I really love that you come to visit me.
Steph:-  The size of the bags on my previous post are:- 81/2 inches High including the handle, 5 inches Wide and 3 inches Deep.  The Die is an XCut Die which I got at:-http://www.hixxysoft.com/
don`t know if they still have them at £19.99 P&P Free, I got mine early last year.  You need 2 sheets of A4 card for each bag.  It is a big Die, the results are great, I love making and decorating them.
Here are a few boxes that I made over the weekend:-

The small boxes are approx 2x3 inches
Crafters Companion A3 Card for all the boxes
I used a left over Peonie on one of the small boxes.    Lots of tiny flowers from Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms Die on the other.
Bigger box is approx 2x4inches.  I used HC Arianna Blooms for that as well, there is mixture of big and small flowers Dies in the set.  SB and Sue Wilson Dies for the leaves.
Little scraps of net and a couple of Stick Pins for extra decoration
Butterflies are leftovers from another set of boxes I made.  I will show them by the end of the week.
Closeup of the top of the Big Box:-

Yesterday it took me ages to price all the things.  I never know what to charge for the things I make.  Things that I think I have priced at a reasonable price I get feedback that they are expensive.  Others just go, it a real funny world out there!!!!  I am off along to the Tearoom later to clear out everything that is the cabinet and completely re-stock.

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in, I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

"Been Mega Busy"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by, welcome, I love having you visit.
I know there are a few of you who are not too good at the moment so I am sending you these (((((hugs))))) please help yourself.
After a slow start we ended up with a rather nice day here.  Washing all done, some of it ironed but the bedding will have to wait till tomorrow.  I am really tired, did not realise Crafting could be so tiring.
The people who have been visiting my Blog for the past couple of years  know my friend Elaine has a Tearoom where I have a cabinet to sell some of my things.  Well I have been very busy making things to put in there.  I have not been making so much as I have been suffering from a very sore left wrist since last October.  I was finding using my GC, Cuttlebug or BigShot quite difficult and as for my eBosser it is a right "waste of space" I really do not like it.  I have just been doing things slowly and not as much as I would have liked.   Anyway wrist a lot better so it was down to work yesterday and today. OMG!! you should have seen the mess, we have had to eat in the Dining Room rather than the kitchen where it much more cozy.  We are all tidy once again.  I am going to spread my makes out over the coming week as I know I will not be making much.
Here is the first:-

Bags cut using an XCut Die and Centura Pearl Card.
The Bag Die is brilliant but it is rather sharp and cuts through some card rather than just embossing the fold lines.  I find Centura Pearl one of the best to use.
Woodware Punch for the petals cut from White Vellum coloured using Spectumn Noir Pens
SB Foliage Die for the leaves plus leaf Dies from Sue Wilson`s Rose Set
Organza Ribbon from Meiflower

My leaves started like this:-
Then this:-
To this:-
I did add some more brown before I cut them out.
This is a great method for leaves I always struggled to get a shade of green I liked when I was cutting leaves.

That`s it for now
Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Hopefully I will get round to visiting you all sometime later or tomorrow
Till next time
Hugs
