"A REAL Oldie for Friday"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all who pop in to see what is on show at this Blog.
Oldie for Friday was started by the lovely Erika over at:-  http://snappycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
Anything you have made in the past that you would like to share is what is wanted.
I did not intend posting anything till Hazel and I got back from Belfast.  I suddenly remembered about Oldie for Friday here is a really old one from me:-

Hazel and I are away together, thought you might like to see a picture of us "together"
Really have no idea how old we are, I would be guessing.
Note the dresses ..... both the same.  Mum used to make all our clothes, knit our cardigans and sweaters.
Sorry about the mark on my arm it definitely is not a perspiration stain!!! More like a tea stain
I don`t do Scheduling so I hope this works

Thank you for calling by I really appreciate it
Till next time
Hugs

"Happy Birthday"

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who happened to press a button that got them here.
Welcome to my Blog I love having visitors.  Thank you for taking time to come see what I get up to. If you don`t have an active Blog I am sorry I cant get back to return the favour.  I do appreciate that you come and leave comments.
I have been missing a bit this week.  Been helping John & Audrey, their shifts kind of clash this week, Granny & Grandpa to the rescue.  Boys absolutely no bother, they get themselves up and going in the morning.  I just have to be with them to cover the time that Mum & Dad are not there.   That`s it for another while though.
I am off over to Hazels tomorrow evening for a "sleepover" in preparation for our journey Edinburgh Airport to catch early flight over to Belfast.  We are there for a few days.  Shopping and sight seeing on Friday.   Saturday my School friend from many years ago (who I still see a lot of) is picking us up to take us to her Dairy Farm for the day.  We will have dinner out in the evening, she will take us back to the Hotel.  Sunday we hope to do the Titanic Experience, then a late flight home.
Here is my offering for today and the next few days:-

Base card 5 x 7
Pink Lidl card  ... they only have this now and again
White Card
Pink Organza Ribbon from Mieflower
SB Foliage Die for the leaves
Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms Die and Stamp Set
I stamped the bottom of the card with the Stamp.    I cut out the Bloom Set in same pink card as the Mat and formed the flower.
Happy Birthday stamp on a Hand Cut Banner

That`s it from me
Thank you so much for calling by I really appreciate it
Till I get back from my trip
Have a great weekend
Hugs

"Robert`s Izzy Bag and Heart"

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by.  Thank you for your visits, I love having you here.  I read all your lovely comments, I appreciate you doing that, it makes this Blogging Lark much more fun.   To all who do NOT have an active Blog, I am pleased that you take time to leave me messages. I feel a little guilty that I cant get back to return the favour.
Hope you all had a good day yesterday.  For all who found it a sad time remembering Mum`s recently lost I am sending some (((((hugs)))))  I know all of us including myself who`s Mum`s died many years ago were still sad and thinking of them.  Our mum died when I was 23, she is in my thoughts daily especially when I am cooking.  We had good old fashioned wholesome food in those days.  Fresh cooked from scratch every day. When I making certain things Mum made and we loved, she is always there.  I can feel her standing beside me.  Not that she was ever critical of any of our efforts, I just know she is there.  I try hard to make things taste as good as hers, it is good but never "just quite there".
Here is Roberts Izzy Bag:-

He also made the MDF Heart
The flowers on the Heart are Air Dry Clay which he loves playing with
I did help him a little with the bag.  That`s the first one he has made.  The bows are made from the same paper covering the Heart.  I made the bows, he did say he was not going to use them.  Once the bag was made up he changed his mind.  Actually I thought the bag was better without.....he was the boss on this one!!!!!

For those of you who have not heard of Izzy Bags  .... Izzy is a follower of Sue Wilson`s Blog.  Izzy made some bags and sent them to Sue to show her what she had done with Sue`s new Dies.  Sue showed them on her shows on C&C, lots of ladies loved them.  Izzy kindly sent all the info to Sue`s Blog so we could have a go at making them.  As most of you know I love making that sort of thing, it was a Win Win for me.  I have made loads, they actually hold a lot.  I have done a few with Easter Eggs (small Easter eggs )  Others I have filled with Travel Products as gifts for friends I know are going off on Short Breaks.

That`s it from me for today
Thank you so much for calling in I really appreciate that you take time to do that
Till next time
Hugs
