Fluttering from the "Bit Box"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland, delighted you have called by.  If you like what you see and have time please leave a comment so I know you have been here.  If you have an active Blog I can get back to see what you get up to.  I have not been Blogging quite as much lately, life in general is getting in the way .... all good I may add.  I think as the days get longer we find other things to do, well I do anyway.  If I have missed commenting on your Blog its not that I am ignoring you, I will be back to full tilt later in the year.
I have treated myself to a couple of new Dies ... did I NEED them ... NO!!!  I liked them, so with a little encouragement from my friend Myra I bought Sue Wilson`s Majestic Monarch Butterfly and I love it.  Had a play when it popped through the Letter Box.  Got out the Bit Box and here is what I came up with:-

Cards are made from off cuts of Centura Pearl approx 5 x 5.   I use mostly A3, I often have bits which make great smaller cards.
SW Butterfly cut from bits in my box
Left:- cut the Butterfly out of the card and backed it with purple card.  Added a few Pearls and a stamped greeting.
Middle:- cut the butterfly twice, cut one in half to "stretch it".  Base one stuck to the card, top one floating.  Pearls and a stamped greeting.
Right:- again cut the butterfly twice, Pearls and a SB Die Cut Happy Birthday.
Really happy with my purchase and can see me using the Butterfly for lots of quick cards.

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate that you take time to that.
Till next time
Hugs

"Oldie for Friday"

Hello Blog friends .... Friday "again" can you believe it???  Hope you are all well and looking forward to the day as well as the weekend.  If not I send you some (((((hugs))))) in hope that they might help.  Its a beautiful morning here in Perthshire.  The Sun is up, The sky is Blue,I hope it is the same for you.
Friday means it`s Oldie for Friday started by the lovely Erika over http://snappycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
This is a FUN thing looking for old projects you have done.  Does not have to be cards.  Anything crafty you have made in the past is what we want to see.  I have said it many times ... go have a look. Its a great way to have a Blog Post, if you have run out of things to show.  .  Its good to look back and see how our crafting has changed.  Mine certainly has and for the better, even though I say it myself.
Here is my offering for today:-

I made this card for Isobel`s Daughter and hubby for their first Anniversary.  My goodness the couple have two children now with the older one at school.
I do know the image is LOTV
SB Tulip Die
Flowers and Foliage Crealies Dies.  I used the Foliage Die so much I had to replace it.  The replacement is now needing replaced. It is one of those Dies with "Foam Release" the foam has gone.  The card is difficult to get out of the Die now.

That`s it from me for today
Off to get the house cleaned.  That will be it for over the weekend, except when Mr Dyson has to brought out to clean up Die Cut Bits!!!!
Thank you so much for your visit and leaving a comment.  I really appreciate that you take time to do that.
Till next time
Hugs

Matching Box!!

Hello Blog friends, hope you are all well.  For those of you who have a Holiday today I hope you have a wonderful time.  The weather over the weekend was terrible.  We were down in Yorkshire for a 70th Birthday Party.  We were staying with the friend who`s birthday it was, a 51/2  hour journey from door to door.  We left early Friday morning with intentions of staying till tomorrow.  The weather was so awful we decided we would come home early and go back down in the summer for longer. Hopefully the weather will be better then.  Oh! My! Word! what a drive home, John did all the driving it was so bad. I am quite capable of driving in the rain but John drove hundreds of thousands of miles in all conditions with his job. He does not bother what the weather throws at him.

I have the little box I made to got with the card I made for my friend.  I had a gift for her and felt if I made a Box it would also help to cheer her up.  She said she was delighted with them, I just hope they helped make her feel a bit better.
Here it is:-

This is the Duo:-

Box is 3 x 4 made with PMD Card
Bebunni Paper from a FreeBe Crafters Companion CD
Pink matt and the Roses made from 160gsm Paper/Card
Leaves SW Rose Die Set
The card for my leaves is coloured using a brilliant idea  "John Next Door" gave on a show he did for Sue Wilson on C&C.  You cover white card with every colour of Green you have and blend them all together.  Adding other colours as you see fit for the purpose.  I love the effect you get.

Right that`s me off to get the first load of washing hung out.  How can two people manage to create so much washing over 3 days???

Thank you for calling by today, I really appreciate you take time to do that
Till next time
Hugs
