"Stock Box Cards"

Good morning Bloggers, hope you have all had a good weekend.  All good here, weekends are always a bit crazy, with two Grandsons often going in opposite directions playing football.  Dad goes with Robert, Mum (Audrey a Midwife) goes with Thomas but if mum is on duty guess who steps in???  Yep!! us, Grandpa, does most of the running about and the driving.   I am the one who does all the cooking and feeding.  We really don`t mind, actually we love it, keeps us involved with everyone, we  only live 8 miles apart which is a good thing.

I have a Stock Box of basic cards that are great for neighbours calling needing a card there and then or even an unexpected event that I would need a quick card for.  Here is the last lot I made, I kind of Batch Make them.  I keep most of them with no sentiments on.  I also have lots of prepared simple sentiments that I can add at the last minute.

Cards made using SampinUp Stippled Blossom Stamp Set.  I just love this set, they are so easy to use.  These were retired a couple of years ago so no longer available.  I did see a set on Ebay, they were selling for £40.  I would buy another set if they were at a reasonable price, mine are getting rather tatty looking, but I did pass on £40 ones.

Thnk you so much for all your visits, I do really appreciate that you take the time to call by and leave your lovely comments.
That`s it till next time

what a very beautiful cards and such beautiful stamps.
I remember you showing this stamp before, and I looked on ebay and saw such heavy prices.
Some people are so greedy with their prices.
What a very super idea the sentiments all ready to use if needed must remember that one.

  6. Hello Patricia,
I love the idea of "just in case" cards and after your inspiration, I copied the idea and it was so useful, but you didn't tell me that I needed to replenish them when they were used ha ha. I'll have to make some more.
